I did a pickup order to take advantage of my rewards on a rainy afternoon and fought the urge to dine in since it would be a long drive back home. Tip: If you have multiple rewards and want to place a to go order, call it in so you can use multiple at one time! I ordered an old favorite, the Spiedino di Mare with shrimp and scallops. Was invited to a wine dinner tonight and don't really have too much to say about it...wasn't really feeling the event. The courses were blah and bland...wasn't impressed with the wine pairings...mind you our table kept having to remind the servers to serve us...which was annoying. We were literally sitting in the front, next to the where the servers were preparing and prepping things to go out... The space for the event was kind of tight. The hostess for the evening was very friendly and welcoming. Loved the energy she was bringing however they were short staffed for such an event. I always search for Carrabba's when traveling out of town for work (which is all the time!). This Carrabba's was 17 minutes from my hotel. Tonight was my second visit in my 12 night stay. On my first night the wait time before a server came to my table was far too long. Service was slow though the restaurant didn't seem busy. It was late (after 7pm). Same thing happened on my second visit. I timed it this time. Nine minutes before server came to the table. Fortunately, the food was delicious on both occasions which is what I expect from Carrabba's. Service was friendly. Just not at a good pace. Music was a bit loud. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Carrabbas but I did not enjoy my take home meal of spaghetti on 13June26. After paying our over $230 bill I asked for a spaghetti take home dinner with angel hair pasta. When I went to eat some that night, all I had was noodles and sauce...no meat at all. it as bland and the worst meal I ever had at Carrabbas, everything else that day was just fine. I'm thinking about calling the restaurant and asking for a replacement meal. read more

Carrabba's one of my favorite Italian spot, however, I was a little disappointed. I ordered a steak med-well and it came out well-done. My other 2 disappointments, no bread and no mushrooms for the marsala sauce. Our waitress was very good, so that made the experience pleasurable. read more

My wife and I decided to have dinner at the Bowie Carrabbas's, it was Saturday, May 2nd around 4pm., an early dinner because we know how Bowie restaurants can get packed around dinner time. We walked in and were seated right away by the hostess. The dining area crowd was very moderate to slim to me and I didn't notice any servers on the floor, they were in the back or kitchen area either talking or waiting on some orders. As a worker passed a patron near us, I heard her ask the server for some bread because they haven't ordered yet, to me that wasn't a good sign. About 8-10 minutes after seating and seeing this, no one came to our table to serve us, offer us water or bread. My opinion, they weren't that busy for us to be ignored that long, so we got up and went to another restaurant. We decided that we will never return to this location to dine. The service quality is definitely poor at the Bowie Carrabbas. read more

I literally could not eat the "food". I ordered the chicken masala meatball entree and salad. Had it delivered. The meat was so over cooked, it sounded like I was hitting a rock when I tapped it. Who ever cooked and packaged this garbage had to have known. The employees there must really hate their job. I decided to try Carrabba's on a Saturday since they have Happy Hour everyday. I was also very interested in trying that Triple Chocolate Bread Pudding on their winter menu since I am a connoisseur. I went around 5pm that evening and it was still fairly empty. It was a nice cozy setting in the bar area. I was able to sit where I liked at the bar and Terri took care of me. To start, I ordered the Passion Pear Spritz off the happy hour menu. I really loved how refreshing it was and how the flavors paired. This was my first time actually eating an entree at Carrabba's so I asked Terri for a recommendation. She recommended me the Johnny Trio her way which was Marsala Wine sauce on the steak & chicken and to sub the chicken ravioli for the lobster. The entree comes with a salad or soup so I choose the Italian salad. Everything was very very good. I love a bartender that knows her craft and has a great taste for food so very good Terri! To end the night, I ordered the Chocolate Bread Pudding & it did not disappoint. Overall, I had a great experience at Carrabba's for my first real dine in. I will be back. read more

Wed., 3/19/25: My oldest son and I attended the March wine dinner in honor of National Women's History Month. Have only been to a Carrabba's wine event once before. Sad it's taken me almost 3 years to come again but super glad I did. Mediocre wine (fan of the Prosecco tho'), pretty decent pomegranate martinis, five delicious courses/ingredients (balsamic glaze, lemon butter sauce, scallops, shrimp, chicken, salted caramel brownies, risotto ... absolutely NO complaints about the food), EXCELLENT service, great crowd ... I'm not opposed to doing this again. On my calendar to return soon because I really want to try their seasonal limoncello martini). Check out my pics. I can recall every time I have visited this place and I have to say that I have never had a negative experience. The ambiance, the friendly service, and the very delicious and fresh food, everything has always been exceptional! Today was extra special because everyone was excited about the big game. Our server, Darius, was a delight, he was friendly and attentive. The food had main event energy. Their fresh bread and olive oil with seasonings for dipping was so good! I just might start coming to this location more! Less than 20mins from my house, which is good! The food was good! Started out with the calamari & pomegranate martini 10/10!!! Whenever I come to Carrabas, I always look forward to the bread & olive oil. It's the seasoning in the oil for me. I ate the whole loaf by myself. The lentil soup is so tasty. There's a brownish-red broth, sausage bits & lots of flavor. It's perfect for cold weather months. I've been here several times & never had it. I feel deprived. For my entrée, I ordered Fettuccine Carraba. The portion was more than I was expecting. I immediately requested a box. It was a lot of pasta & not enough sauce, so I got some sauce to go. It's a traditional chicken alfredo with mushrooms & peas. Not bad. I topped it all off with some tiramisu. I don't drink coffee but I love tiramisu. read more

Dinner at Carrabba's was ok, not bad, not great, just ok. Best part of meal was bread with dipping sauce of herbs and olive oil; I could have eaten the entire loaf. House salad with house dressing needed salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. Fettuccine with shrimp and scallop, note the word scallop was underwhelming. The sauce was weak, fettuccine was overcooked and the shrimp and scallop were flavorless. Server was very soft spoken, could barely understand him, he was also not very attentive. We went to Carraba's on a rainy weekend for date night. The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived, and although we'd booked call-ahead seating, it wasn't considered a reservation. We were told it would be another 30-45 minute wait...cool. While waiting, most patrons departed, and the restaurant was pretty empty. This didn't help us get seated quicker or help our food arrive quickly. Our waiter often disappeared for long swathes of time without fulfilling our requests. Overall, the food was good, although the noodles in the Mama's Sicilian soup were overcooked. I love Carrabba's food, so I will likely go back again, but not because I love the service. read more

The bar tender Mavelyn was so busy talking about her 17 and 15 year old children to customers that she totally neglected her customers. While I asked for bread with my soup 3 times I never got any. She however was able to consum her dinner right in front of me eating out of a homemade tinfoil pouch. When I told her that I never got my bread she totally got an attitude.
