Carrefour has different concepts for different population concentrations. One of the ones I was most familiar with when living in Paris was "Carrefour City" which managed to jam as much product into as small a place as possible, with generally higher prices than at the standard very large Carrefour locations out in the countryside where I live now. Carrefour Contact seems to be a middle road between the two concepts: larger than a Carrefour City, with larger portion sizes and lower prices, but not nearly as large as a standard Carrefour. read more
