It is my first time in France and my trip couldn't have gone well without American Concierge…read more I was met immediately at customs by my truly amazing guide Janice. In less than 30 minutes we were at Palais Garnier(opera house) in the heart of Paris. She elegantly led through the streets instilling all her knowledge of Paris and France. Janice sat me down with a cafe ole, and proceeded to inform me all about; neighborhoods, cafes, cabs, taxis, trains and the very important Paris metro system. Since my trip was to south she was in charge of getting me on to my train without fail, with threats of a national Rail Strike. My guide ensured me that I will get to my final destination and beyond. Without fail I was on a High Speed train to Lourdes France to begin a truly remarkable vacation, and by the time I got back to Paris I felt like an expert in getting around. Thank you for a truly amazing experience

Fabulous personalized tours !!! Rich the head concierge was excellent…read more My wife and I do not enjoy large group tours. That's why we went with this service. We first skyped with Sharon and Rich to plan out our trip, mainly to find the best out of the way places. We started the trip with a personal Airport pickup. Then we spent the next 4 days on some great private tours. First the Montmartre art & culture tour, then the Marais shopping tour (my wife designed her own perfume scent), then the Tuileries Waterlilies & Hot Chocolate Tour (love that Angelina's Hot Chocolate). But the best part though, was when Janice (a Jazz singer her self) took us on a custom Jazz music tour to the best out of the way Jazz venues, and gave us the low down on the Paris Jazz culture. We also wanted to to Marianne's private gallery tour, but the timing was not right. We'll do that one the next time, and probably the Cheese market tour, and (maybe) the 'Gotta Dance' tour. Thanks Rich and americanconcierge.com. We'll see you next time we're in Paris.

Great concept of free or pay as you wish. I paid E15 per person and thought it was excellent value…read more Guide was knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. Actually the Marais was the second tour after Montmartre yesterday. I would recommend both wholeheartedly. I've lived in Paris but realized how little I know or how much more there is to know. Leonie our Montmartre guid also did an excellent interpretation of a Dalida song. Merci Leonie and Sara.

We've had a few successes with Viator so this is leaving me completely puzzled. On May 8, 2025, we…read morewere supposed to meet someone at the Henry IV statue at the Pont Neuf bridge at 3:15 to get our tickets for the 3:30 tour. We got there early enough to have lunch and walk around a bit. At 2:30 we went over to the statue and sat on a bench to enjoy the sights and wait for our tour. at 3:20, no one had showed up with tickets. We called the tour provider and they said they had notified Viator that this specific tour was oversold and that we were moved to the 3:00 tour. NO ONE ever told us. ON top of that, we were at the location at 2:45 (the time they said we needed to get the tickets at the statue) and NO ONE was there. We called Viator and they said we were considered "late" and they could not refund us, despite the fact that we were way early. at 3:37 pm, we received an email from Viator saying that our tour had changed to 3:00 pm and we needed to be at the statue at 2:45. nearly an HOUR after the time we were supposed to be there, they notified us. However, we WERE there. Viator still claims they cannot refund our tickets. I'll add, the email they sent us had a 3:00pm timed ticket to enter Notre Dame on our own, but we received it 37 minutes too late. This was a once in a lifetime trip, and to miss such a highlight as Notre Dame, after we've taken so much time to plan ahead, and pay nearly $200 for this unique experience.
