I've been coming to this location since I was a baby and the quality has never changed. They also have a couple other locations across the country, but this one is the absolute best. All their ice cream is very natural and you can taste the real ingredients in it. My go-to is the Beso de Tepozteco which has cherry, pineapple, peach, pear and another secret ingredient. I like to top it off with some of their spicy sauce which I think has chamoy, and voila! I can assure you you'll never find anything like it anywhere else.

The ice cream here is gelato style, which is creamier, silkier, as well as more dense and elastic than American ice cream. They had a dozen or so interesting flavors that you will not find just anywhere. All three flavors that we tried were delicious, my favorite being the Vino Tinto-red wine ice cream! It tasted like a smooth, sweet port wine with the perfect level of soft acidity. The Cheesecake flavor was also incredible, packed with large chunks of rich, creamy cake. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. My boyfriend left his wallet behind by accident, and the man working ran quite far after us to return it. We are so grateful! Great people, great ice cream. An absolute must stop in Mexico City.

Though there was a Spanish speaker with me, we appreciate the staff also speaking English to help me. Always love the aesthetic and elegant vibes this restaurant has. Low lighting does make it a little harder to see. Food is always so flavorful especially for their vegan options. Portions are pretty large In my opinion. I also appreciate wine and mezcal options from vineyards and distilleries throughout Mexico.

The Caldo de Frijol was incredible -- gorgeous tableside presentation where they pour the broth over the beans and beef. The Betabel crujiente (crispy beet salad) might be the best beets I've ever eaten. Both went straight into my favorite dishes of the trip. The Filete Res Chichilo was excellent. Tarta de Manzana a perfect close. Tlayuda Setas was unique and very good but didn't quite live up to the rest. Tacos Minilla were the weakest. Would absolutely recommend.
Sample of moles, manager brought out for us to try. Definitely better tasting than the dishes we orginally ordered.
