We started off with a "trial run" of sorts, we hired Angie and Lee for our wedding but then also booked an engagement shoot. During that engagement shoot with Angie, she made us feel comfortable and confident as she was able to direct us through poses while also just talking to us as if we were already friends. She gave us back our gallery so quickly and it was so romantic and cinematic. I have NEVER felt prettier (or so I thought) Come our wedding we got to meet Lee, her husband and videographer, Lee was just the same! I truly enjoyed his humor throughout the day and it was so endearing to see Angie and Lee work together. They are truly and impeccable pair, as the seamlessly communicated and worked around and with each other to get their own shots. They then provided a sneak peak, SO QUICKLY, and the photos were STUNNING. I thought I felt pretty at our engagement shoot, it doesn't compare to the wedding photos!! They capture just the right angles and all those small moments. I am awaiting on my full gallery and video, however, I have full trust it will be spectacular!! She collaborated with our vendors promptly and effectively. She was candid about her expectations and humored our silliest asks! Although guest parking is a bit of a trek from ceremony/party space, it is wheelchair accessible and it's set up in such a way that a member of the party can "valet" for those who might be unable to walk up the hill. The space is a California dream. Lush wedding lawn, surrounded by evergreens, there is a small lake and even a cute swing set and trampoline! My only wish is that I'd met her (and her husband) BEFORE we were getting married so we'd have the privilege of having them as GUESTS instead of a VENDOR at our wedding.

The Schrammsberg Estate is definitely a beautiful venue with really nice views. Yes, there are…read moremosquitoes, but it's outdoors, so what can you do lol. I've DJed here twice now, and both times the sound was definitely monitored pretty closely by the venue owner. There's a decibel reader mounted on a tree near the DJ area, and I was told the music needed to stay under 75 dB. Both times, once dancing started, the owner was standing near me watching the sound level, pointing at the meter and asking me to turn it down. This even happened around 8 PM when the sun was still out. I'm starting to notice this more and more with certain wedding venues. Years ago, you showed up as the DJ, set up your sound system and rocked the party. Now at some venues, it feels like people get nervous the second they see you bringing in subwoofers. I completely understand venues have neighbors, property restrictions and rules they have to follow, but couples should know about those restrictions before choosing a venue if having a loud dance party is important to them. There was also a funny situation during load-in. I backed my vehicle in and one of the staff members told me I couldn't park where I was because I had driven onto the grass. I moved immediately. There were already other tire marks there, but afterward they actually asked me to rake the grass so it looked like I hadn't driven on it. In all my years DJing weddings, that was definitely a first . But I grabbed the rake and did it. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and has great views. My main reason for leaving this review is just so couples know what to expect. Based on my experience DJing there twice, if your priority is having a loud, high-energy dance party with substantial bass, this probably wouldn't be my first recommendation because of the sound restrictions and how closely the decibel level is monitored. If louder music isn't important to you and you're okay with those restrictions, then the venue itself is a beautiful setting for a wedding.
