I wanted 4, maybe 5 hanging baskets because that was all that would fit in my FIT. Not knowing how things worked, I missed out on potential buys. They have a tag on one of the baskets indicating if you have to buy 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or more. Keep that in mind when you are bidding. It is more common to have to buy 6 or more. On Friday, knowing the ropes, I got exactly was I wanted. 4 baskets with a winning bid of $10 so I paid $40 plus tax by check. Check or cash, no cards. First though we had to suffer through bids on straw. I think that was in lots of 36 bales. Then onto the eggs, fresh veggies, jams, dried noodles, strawberries and baked goods. I thought those prices sold exceptionally high plus years ago, I got strawberries thinking they would taste like my Dad's and I found them tasteless for double the supermarket price. Off to the side waiting to be bid on, there were cherries, oranges, strawberries in big boxes. These likely were purchased at the same place supermarkets go to for their produce. These were from California.I could see and smell that some were definitely passed their prime. I suppose if you got a good prices and discarded the rotting ones it might be worth it. We left before these things were bid on. Come here with an open mind. Selections available on Wednesday, like Boston Ferns and planters were not available Friday. Both days had flats and hanging baskets. Both days had Amish food. All to be bid on. One batch of eggs sold for $1 a dozen.....but i can't use 15 dozen. Cute seeing the Amish buggies parked with the cars. I got the flowers I most wanted. I am pleased.

I stopped in here…read morewhen the store was relatively new to Tanger Outlets and probably spent over an hour at the singing bowl table. The store manager was super friendly, and showed me how to hold and play the bowl/mallet to get the best tone from the rim: effectively, a free music lesson. He was really delightful to talk to and learn from. I found a bowl here that really spoke to me, and it followed me home. Also found a dress that makes me feel like a princess. Lovely, memorable place, I go back here every time I visit the outlet.
