In June of 2020, he tried to force (bully) me into a…read morere-evaluation & a more intensive treatment plan (that I did not feel was necessary at the time), claiming that my insurance was requesting a review of my file & threatening me that I would be forced to pay anything the insurance required repayment of. He told me that this plan was a "loophole" around the insurance company refusing to pay for "maintenance". I consider this to be a form of insurance fraud! I sent him a letter telling him that I did not agree with his plan & he wrote me back that as long as I was willing to pay what the insurance didn't, then I could seek treatment on my terms. But that turned out to be a bold-faced lie! In March of 2021, I returned because I was having terrible headaches. When I scheduled an appointment, I was not informed that I would have to have a re-evaluation. It was forced upon me at my appointment. He told me that it was "his policy" for anyone who hadn't been there for 6 months (it was 8). This further made me angry with him & he knew it. He then tried to force me to come back later the same week. When checking out I refused to schedule another appointment at that time, saying that I would call when I needed to come back. I intended to have adjustments on MY TERMS NOT HIS! Two weeks later, I received a certified letter terminating my care!! The degree to which he blatantly disrespected me & my feelings has left me feeling violated to the very core of my being!! Dr. Burik has lost his compassion for people & is more concerned with lining his pockets!

They have helped me tremendously with so many problems in my spine. I am fused in my lower back, and they take great care around that area when they are treating me. The Dr. gave me a thorough assessment and recommended that I use a foam roller on the major large muscles that were connecting into my painful joints. I went home after my adjustment and did what he said, using a foam roller regularly. My joint soreness quickly went away. His advice was spot-on. I would get their membership and go weekly for adjustments but I just can't work it into the budget right now, although it is really affordable. I highly recommend this office! Most other doctors don't care and tell you to come back in a couple days for a follow-up (and you don't truly feel better). Dr Zink tells you that she'll try 'x' number of visits, give you exercises and see if that fixes you. Then you come back as needed. She doesn't put you on some silly membership plan. She truly cares about people & wants them to feel whole.
