First time trying Carrot Express and let me say, it did not disappoint. We ordered through Uber eats since they had the "BOGO" special. We ordered a power bowl - the pesto chicken bowl which has brown rice, kale, chicken, avocado, roasted corn, and feta. And as the dressing, the pesto-lime vinaigrette. It was DELICIOUS. So fresh, tasty, tangy, and not one bit overbearing. The portion was enough to be shared for two. We loved it so much we ordered it again within the same week. Must try! read more

All the food was freshly prepared and high quality. I love how healthy it is. The service was quick & staff was friendly. It was very clean, the temperature inside was nice. (Edit: adding a star for the professional and thoughtful response to my review) This was my first time at a Carrot Express, and while I would give it another try, this particular experience was a little underwhelming. I ordered the ahi poke bowl to satisfy a craving, and this might have been a bad move (how's this for a rule: don't order poke from a place that doesn't have chopsticks?). Utensils aside, the bowl wasn't bad, per se. It had a decent assortment of ingredients, most of which seemed pretty fresh, and the presentation was appealing. However, the ahi was a little grainy and over-seasoned/salty, and the eel sauce was cloyingly sweet (note: it's the only poke sauce they offer, so maybe another reason to just go to a proper poke establishment if that's what you're in the mood for...). Service was friendly but somewhat awkward. First, even though I got there 35 minutes before close, I had to negotiate being able to order for on-premises consumption (which obviously didn't make me feel super welcome). Also, while waiting for my meal, I was approached and informed that they had run low on ahi, suggesting a half-ahi, half-salmon bowl. I asked for a refund, not feeling salmon, and in response they determined that they somehow actually had a sufficient quantity of ahi (?). Again, awkward. As for the space itself, it was clean, bright, and modern, but had an unfortunate faint smell of sewage (likely not their fault, and possibly not a constant issue), which obviously detracted from my meal. And finally, $23 (with tax) for a poke bowl at a fast casual, counter-order restaurant? I hadn't been out for poke in a minute before this, but I'm pretty certain this is the first time I've paid over $20 at a place that wasn't full-service, so it felt pricey. read more

Service was amazing! The young Hostess was great! It was fairly empty on a Friday afternoon but squeaky clean and inviting. I wanted something light while running errands and I had never been to a carrot express before. They have an extensive menu which was pretty cool and plenty of fresh juices to choose from. I ordered the guilt free fried rice with chicken (made with cauliflower rice) and an aquapana. Flavorful and healthy, it tasted so fresh and the cilantro sauce added an extra "umph". It was a nice size portion so I had enough save for later. This is a great place for an after workout meal or to hang out over a hearty, yet light and flavorful lunch! read more

Will not return. We ordered the "fresh made" waffle and it was ice cold/frozen. When we told the server about it, he was rude and began talking over me when I asked if the waffle was frozen. He then admitted that it was frozen and that he would remake it. The second round of waffles were still cold in the middle. For $15 dollars, we expected the waffle to be made fresh from scratch not frozen. It feels very deceptive to promote a fresh concept and then serve frozen food. If we wanted frozen waffles we could've just purchased a box of eggos. read more

We got the golden tumeric latte, it was delicious its like a milder chai, the matcha latte, the croissant eggwich, and the turkey bacon eggwhite wrap. I always have a great experience with carrot express and this was just that. A great experience. I took my pregnant sis here and it was her first time trying carrot express. We got in quick and had no trouble parking. We were helped by a super nice guy at the register and he looked up all allergies we asked about so quick. We got a loaded sweet potato with chicken salad, the guy brought us a sample of the chicken salad bc my sisters pregnant and she wanted to make sure she didn't have an aversion to it. She loved it the baby loved it and I loved it! It was very fresh tasting and looking. So so good. I had sweet potato fries and a gf chicken wrap with a strawberry smoothie, overall really great. The Latina older lady who helped us by bringing us our food was so sweet and absolutely a gem. Great food and great service. read more

I was really looking forward to eating here but find myself dissatisfied and disappointed. The poke wrap my daughter got literally had 2 pieces of salmon and one slice of avocado. The rest of the wrap was filled with brown rice and greens. Garbage. My portobello sandwich was tasty but there was very little mushroom, and mostly just filled with tons of greens. My husbands chicken ceasar wrap had very little chicken. For the amount of filling that goes in these foods, the cost is astronomical! I won't be coming back, what a shame. Visiting Hollywood and tried this place for dinner tonight. It was outstanding. I guessed by my first impression it would be good, but it exceeded my expectations by a lot. I had the chicken pesto sandwich with a side salad and an in-house juice. The. portion was generous. The chicken was juicy and fresh with a nice light pesto and balsamic vinegar combination and arugala, and the simple salad with crunchy carrot shreds and pecan crumbles was surprisingly tasty. The freshly made juice topped off the healthy and delicious meal nicely. Will definitely try again before the end of my trip. Highly recommend. read more
