*update* insurance wants me to keep returning till they fix the car properly. this horrible carstar…read moredoesnt respect the customers car. low quality work. i told insurance to pound salt and sold my car. never go to this location. ------------------------------- *updated aug 15th* - insurance says im stuck to lockwood for the proper fix to my steering system. i hate having to risk more damage to my car if they drive it like clowns...but if all they want to do is wheel alignments instead of sending insurance the proper bill for the repairs to get this steering fixed the right way. hell, ill return every Thursday / weekly for free alignments, we will see how many alignments itll take for someone to get a clue and replace the broken parts.--------- *update* i fixed carstar damage they caused to my driverside door. my car steering is still broken the insurance adjuster wants me to return the car for them to properly fix it. i am refusing. they will never touch my car again. i am waiting to see my options from insurance to have my car fixed at a different shop. i hope i am not stuck with lockwood.----- ---photos of vehicle parked and waiting customer pick up should have been done as a mandatory policy because the employee who drove my car after repairs managed to cause more damage to my vehicle, driverside door has new scratches.& scuffs, they are deep. it will cost me $400 to $1000 in paint repair because its a pearlescent paint, cant touch that up and carstar knows it., thats why photos should have been done properly. brutal. i wouldnt even return if a lawyer won the case id get it fixed elsewhere.----- the panel was fixed. steering issues after the accident wont be properly fixed just a short lived wheel alignment, atleast its abit easier to drive i guess and got my lost trim part installed.--- i was sent to this location by the insurance adjuster after my accident. i had damage to the passenger side steering, door and rear q.panel.-‐- they repaired the body damage but they lost a piece of the trim to the rear brake light. i returned on my day off to show them the missing part. that was thursday. they ordered a new part for me and that they would have the part to be installed on the next day. received no call. its now monday, i called them, they have the part but "checking if it fits" is what i was told.--- BELIEVE ME it fits, you used my vin number to order the damn thing.-- ---lets back up to Saturday when i started looking more closely at the car. due to the fact the steering was still wrong and that alignment solved nothing, when the truck hit me it damaged the rack pinion system and possibly more areas. you performing a wheel alignment to fix it doesnt work.-- --i will be contacting the adjuster to determine what is going to happen. i want my car as is before the accident.-- --the interior passenger side panel is not even attached properly to the car. why was the interior panel removed? the damage was all exterior  steering parts, exterior door and the exterior rear quarter panel.-- uploaded pics of the driverside interior panels to show the difference from the incorrectly installed passenger side panels.
