Long story short, it was a really ruff patch in my life and I wanted to accept responsibility for my past , get my messes cleaned up and take care of it. I of course was very nervous! I reached out to the law office of Camron Hoorfer and Mr. Hoorfer and his team took my case and immediately got to work! With in a week I had my license back and in less than a month had me in court for my felony case and got my warrant taken care of with out doing any jail time and settled my case with an outcome more satisfactory than I expected! Zero jail time! Mr. Hoorfer and his team are very professional! There communication skills are a higher class! I was kept up to date throughout the whole process and got a response almost immediately anytime I had questions or concerns. I never felt ignored or that any question I had was irrelevant. The paralegal Tabitha Bahorski who helped throughout much of the process was top notch on helping me with difficult paperwork and helping me navigate all of my obstacles after the case had been resolved in court which in my experience with other attorneys doesn't happen... once court is finished the job is done. They are very thorough from start to finish! In court Camron spoke on my behalf very clearly and confidently and I really felt represented. Obviously anyone in court on a felony case is nervous and when you add to that having a warrant for not showing to court for almost 5 years that makes your attorneys job that much more difficult. I'm very appreciative of Camron and his team for the way they handled my case in the courtroom and out of the courtroom! Very satisfied! 5 out of 5 stars!

Serious Concerns Regarding Communication, Billing, and Case Handling:…read more Our experience with the Law Office of Camron Hoorfar, P.C. concerning a property-related lawsuit was deeply disappointing. We retained the firm to prepare and file a petition regarding 10212 Belmont Avenue, paid $7,000 in advances, and repeatedly authorized the firm to proceed with filing. Despite repeated statements that the petition was complete, ready to file, or required only minor revisions, the lawsuit was never filed before the firm terminated the representation. We also experienced significant confusion concerning who the firm represented. The written fee agreement identified myself as "Client," the firm communicated legal strategy directly with him, sent him the petition for substantive review, billed for reviewing his comments, and repeatedly sought his authorization before filing. Later, however, the firm characterized Terren as the sole client and Lonnie as a third-party payor, while also stating in writing that "you are both our clients." Those positions were difficult to reconcile and were never adequately explained. We have serious concerns about the handling of the case materials and billing. The firm billed attorney time to download the evidence repository, but the drafting attorney later appeared not to have access to important folders and documents. The client file returned to us also appeared materially incomplete. We additionally identified discrepancies between the attorney time billed for petition drafting and the recorded editing metadata in several petition drafts, including drafts identifying automated document-generation tools as the creator. The firm terminated the representation shortly after we requested the complete file, trust accounting, billing support, call recordings, preservation of relevant evidence, and limitations on further billing pending review. We now dispute all fees paid and have requested a complete accounting and supporting documentation. We cannot recommend this firm based on our experience. Clients considering representation should ensure that the engagement agreement clearly identifies every client, obtain written confirmation of filing deadlines and case status, request regular complete copies of the client file, and closely review invoices and trust-account activity throughout the representation. We paid $7,000 to have a petition created and a lawsuit filed, only to receive an A.I. generated petition and withdrawal after we questioned the billing, which totaled over $8,790 billed with no lawsuit even filed or being even ready to file.

He is not afraid to be honest about outcomes or expectations that will arise in your case. But what makes him different than other attorneys is not just legal knowledge or his court experience. It's his passion for the "Cause," this is hard to find among attorneys these days. Mr. Gilmore is passionate about defending the rights and needs of his clients. It's not just a business relationship but a team effort to obtain a goal that the law supports.

I want to be fair and respectful in writing this review, because I'm sure Mark and Courtney Gilmore…read moreare good people, and I can only speak to my own personal experience with their law firm. I hired Gilmore Law Firm after my accident in 2018 to handle my settlement case. It is now 2026, approximately eight years later, and my case still has not been settled. During that entire time, I have only spoken with Mark once. Most of my communication has been with Courtney. Unfortunately, communication has been one of the most frustrating parts of this experience. There have been many times when I've reached out and waited weeks, often around a month, before receiving a response. Courtney has regularly apologized for the lack of communication and given me updates about negotiations, including what has sounded like very encouraging progress and settlement numbers. However, when I respond or ask follow-up questions, I often do not hear back again until weeks later. I understand that legal cases can take time, negotiations can be complicated, and attorneys have many clients. I also don't want to make assumptions about what is happening behind the scenes. But from a client's perspective, going approximately eight years without resolution and consistently struggling to receive timely communication has been extremely discouraging and frustrating. I'm writing this because I believe prospective clients deserve to know what my experience has been before deciding who to hire. If you choose to work with this firm, I would strongly recommend having a very clear conversation upfront about expected timelines, communication frequency, who will personally handle your case, and how quickly questions will be answered. I genuinely wish Mark and Courtney well, and I hope my case is ultimately brought to a successful conclusion. But based on my experience to this point, I cannot recommend the firm without serious reservations regarding communication and the extraordinary amount of time my case has taken.

I assume most of these good reviews about Stange Law were written before the case was finished, and I will explain how they do it.   I hired Tina Cox as my lawyer after our initial interview because she sounded competent, very sharp, and seemed like a great person to have your back. As the case went on, I was noticing she was slower to respond to the questions and concerns I was having through email, and never picked up the phone or called me back. Tina would tell me she would file documents with the court and never did. When I would ask her (through email) if she filed those papers with the courts so I could get documents I needed in Discovery. I never got an answer and she never filed those papers. Six months later and I still do not have the documents to prepare for trial. (Now I see why she is talking me out of going to trial.) She would sit on discovery documents for weeks without giving them to me, even when I asked her. And after conversations with her I would have even more questions.   RED FLAG: We went to mediation for assets, which went pretty good!. despite Tina being able to get me all of my records in discovery.A couple days later she asked me to write multiple good Reviews online about her and the firm. I was pretty happy with the outcome of asset mediation that I agreed and said no problem. (I had no intension on writing great reviews before the case was over.) Do you write a review about a restaurant before sitting down and eating? No! So why would I do it before the case was finished. A month goes by and the asset contract isn't signed. The spouse keeps adding things. Tina never offered suggestions on what to take out and leave in the contract. So, I started doing some research and found out things you should never have in an asset contract if you are not the breadwinner of the family.... very scary! With Tina thinking I wrote a good review, her attitude towards my case did a complete 180 without warning. She started getting more brash with me on my concerns over the case and custody of my child. Then she started talking me out of going to trial. She seemed very unprepared getting closer to trial. This made me extremely nervous and anxious.    She would be really vague during our conversations going into trial, making it very hard to make a confident decision and left all the reasoning to me. She is always getting me to sign papers at the last minute before the deadline, putting massive pressure on me with her vague explanations. She would never explain repercussions of those decisions, which made me feel like I was making the biggest mistake of my life and getting taken advantage of.   It feels like she got all of my money and is about to leave me high and dry.....I started looking for a new lawyer before things got irreversible. My ex's lawyer told my ex this about Stange Law at the beginning of our divorce, and I never believed her....Now I have to apologize, because she did try to warn me. Stange Law: they will drag the case on, milk you for all of your money, and leave you high and dry. Here we are! Almost broke and losing. The opposing lawyer just steam rolls Tina in court. She doesn't give Tina documents requested and Tina doesn't do anything about it. But Tina sure talks a great game. I never felt like Tina faught for me. The scariest thing is, I never said 1 word in any of these hearings, but the judge seems to hate me.....So I'm really confused about this as well.   Tina Cox is the managing partner, so I assume she is in charge of training and managing the other lawyers to be just like this.....This is terrifying! You are a paying customer, do not have to write a review until the service is complete. Good luck.
