Then one day he walked in with a shadow and asked if it was ok if he could join in. When I learned that this kid was actually going to be replacing Dr Benton I can admit I was a little worried. He was young and Dr Benton had some pretty big shoes to fill. But, I trusted Dr. Benton and if he was turning over his patients to Dr. Powers then surely he knew he had picked the right man for the job. And of course he did. I have never had not one problem with Dr. Powers. In fact the only problem I have is that I recently moved 2 hours away and I couldn't take him with me. They are so caring and personal and do everything within their power and more to provide for your needs. We've particularly appreciated all of the attention and genuine care Dr. Powers has shown toward our son and his abnormal genetic condition. Though I do suppose it's possible that anyone can have a bad day, I want to make a point to vouch for the Rick I've known for years. He is consistently one of the most joyful and caring people I've ever met. My family will make a point to pop into his office anytime we're in, just to say hi and see his smile. Also, I don't know of any answering machines that have selective services. They treated us just fine when we were on Medicaid. Lastly, all of the parents within my social circles regard Benton Pediatrics as the best place to receive care. Would give this practice 6 stars if I could! Awesome place :)

His office is bright and clean and the staff and nurses are wonderful. Dr Beebe works with an amazing group of doctors and if there's ever an emergency and he's not available, there is always someone who can see your child. The office is located on the fourth floor of the Women's Center and is easy to access with parking in the adjoining parking garage. The hospital pond next to the women's center is lovely and adds to the beauty of the facility. We highly recommend Dr Beebe!

There's a couple members of the office staff who are less than impressive (I was incorrectly billed once and when I went in, in person, to speak with them about the error, the girl I spoke to looked at me as if I was speaking Klingon: if you work in medical billing, you should be able to read a medical bill, sorry) however, the medical staff from Dr. Diane Walker and Dr. Husband to the nurses, is superb. Dr. Martin, a physician who used to practice here but left for a primary care practice in Ocala, was also great--I've even considered switching over to him as my own primary care despite that he's now 45 minutes away: he was simply that good.
