March 18 2026 after snow storm . I was walking my dog on the road turned the corner on Martindale…read morestreet onto copper ( on my way to trans Canada trail) street waited for the backhoe driver in front of me on the road to stop so l could walk around the corner . There were cars patiently waiting behind me on Martindake street. The backhoe driver yelled at me to move back , l couldn't move back he could see there were cars behind me and ongoing traffic on cooper street on the other side of the backhoe. I said no to the driver l can't move , he yelled that he was going to dump snow on me and he moved the backhoe forward towards me .Cars stopped so l could get around the backhoe my dog was terrified l was in shock. l called the police to report the incident. The officer said that the backhoe driver threatened me with assault and a police unit would follow it up. Its been a tough couple days for everyone patience and human kindness is visible throughout the city but NOT with TLC the driver had an agenda no doubt profit driven.
