Cartier is really an amazing jeweler. They offer very unique and interesting pieces. When I was in the market for a new watch I went to some other places like Tiffany and Co. and Hermes, but Cartier really had an incredible selection of awesome watches (I think the fancy term at Cartier is "timepieces"). Whether you like stuff with a lot of bling and encrusted with diamonds or you're looking for a watch that makes a subtle statement, you can find it here. The service they provide is excellent and I've never been disappointed with anything they do. I won't lie - this place is pricey and it isn't for everyone, but if you are looking for a nice watch and you want something that makes a statement, this is the place to go. It's very elegant. We shopped at some mall jewelry stores and they were full of bling-bling. Larger is better, according to most Americans. But not when it comes to a ring I am interested in. After exploring quite a bit of jewelers in the search for my perfect wedding band, I had finally settled on Cartier's Love Collection ring. There's a wedding band version that looked quite small for someone my size so I had my mind set on the one that was slightly larger. I had been to this boutique several times to try on the ring with and without diamonds. I was convinced on getting the one without diamonds, but deep down I really wanted the one with diamonds, but every time I tried it on, it always felt and looked too big. That is, until Kevin helped me with checking out the Love ring as well as the Tank Francaise. Since I don't wear rings, he ensured me that even though the ring with diamonds looked big on me now, once I wore it more often, I'd get more used to it. I wear larger watches so I'm used to having larger accessories. Fast forward about a month after some serious thought about spending twice as much for a few diamonds and a little more gold and I decided to pull the trigger on the Love ring with 3 diamonds. Kevin assisted me and made the whole process very seamless from purchasing the ring to getting it engraved and even wrapping the outer box to make for some awesome wedding photos. I will ding them 1 star however. Like a few people have said, service can be hit or miss here. Like many other jewelry stores, once you mentioned "wedding" you'll get all the help in the world, but it can be tough for locals. I've been here a few times and basically walked around the boutique by myself while the workers stood idle, but most of the time, at least one person helped me try the ring, but I had a vibe that they knew I wasn't leaving with it and was just going through the motions. Not many are looking at spending several thousands of dollars on jewelry and boutiques know that. My suggestion for those visiting Cartier (or any luxury store in general) is do your homework. Decided to walk in and take a look at the jewelry options for men. When I first stepped into the store, NO ONE helped me. Literally, two men said "Welcome" and continued their conversation as I walked around looking like a lost puppy. Finally, a woman came out from the back and asked if I needed help. My face must of said it all because she was by my side in an instant asking me what I'm looking for. I must admit, I don't wear jewelry so some of the questions she was asking me sounded like she was speaking another language. She introduced herself to me and took me over to the Love collection. (BTW her name is Stephanie) she asked me what type of gold I'm interested in and we went from there. She showed me the love collection rings and bracelets. She also sized my ring finger and wrist. I'm writing this review a little late but my then fiancé (now husband) and I had stopped by this past holiday season. Although we ended up purchasing from another store, I felt the need to share my great experience with Sanford at Cartier. We did not have an appointment set up prior to our visit but we were greeted at the front door and he kindly offered to assist us. It was our first visit at this location and we immediately felt welcomed. Sanford was thorough in answering all of our questions. He was patient with us, and even showed us some other pieces that we really liked. After our visit, Sanford had even reached out to follow up with us to see how we were doing. His thoughtfulness alone is enough to bring us back and it was because he took the time to follow up that I felt the need to write this review. I normally don't write Yelp view unless something is really really good, or really really bad. This time is for an extraordinary customer service experience. I was there for a yearly visit around holiday season. Sometimes I spent time shopping here since the tax is cheaper than mainland. This was not the first time when i was at Cartier, not at this store/location. What happened was when I first walked in, I really didn't plan to buy things(just checking things out) and see what's new(Cartier released new things every year but unless it's super cool, it doesn't surprise me). A sales, Wayne Wong(knew his name after), welcomed us and very nicely asked what we were looking for as usual(nothing special here). And then, I really liked one of rings. After chatting with Wayne, I decided to buy a pair. However, they didn't have the size so they had to order. Wayne was very nice and explained how it works, and even offered us the red card program where you can finance it without any interests. Our plan originally was to get two rings on Friday(the day before we left). Unfortunately, due to the storm, the delivery was delayed. I was a little bit upset, but cannot blame the sales except the weather. Wayne explained the situations and apologized what happened. With manager's approval, he committed to ship to me directly. So eventually, I got the 2nd ring delivered the next business days. For the entire time, Wayne was checking the tracking status with me and making sure i was taken care of. Felt like being treated as "GOD" with full of respects and patience! I'm strongly recommend you to be served by Wayne or ask him for help when you shop in Cartier. At Cartier you shouldn't feel like your shopping at " hot topics " ( no offense) . Every excuse that has nothing to do with " pandemic " they will say " due to pandemic " during Christmas season and New Years is naturally high traffic for these high end retail to have more customers. And their management of controlling customer service is quit poor . If other stores can do it Cartier should be able to provide better service. Ala Moana store manager has really poor management skills . I shouldn't feel anything but good when I shop here but it made me not want to shop here anymore . Probably they don't want me either . The sales lady who helped first didn't even contact us after having horrible experience. So I just wanted to return it but again they give you a hard time . It took A LOT of waiting for me to get my bracelet. My friend and I entered the store shortly after a couple entered and I believe only two associates were working with two security guards. We stood by the right entrance waiting to be assisted and the SA next to us helping a client did not greet. She wasn't very friendly, or so it seems. The other lady, Eunice, was much more helpful once she saw us. She asked us to wait a little while longer and was ready to assist when my conscience kicked in and said the other couple came in first. She apologized to us and went straight to help them, which is a good thing since they bought a necklace. She came back and was very apologetic while the other lady didn't give two rips about me and assisted her client to the other office to finish the transaction. Eunice was very helpful and friendly and explained from A-Z the process of the bracelet and how to care for it. Sadly I didn't listen as I was on cloud nine just obtaining the bracelet. A great collection of Cartier watches and jewelry........but better yet.... the prices here are much lower than the Mainland and the tax is only 4%. My Santos 100 watch cost me $5,200 in NY but here it is $900.00 cheaper. That being said, I had to buy a couple of cuff links and ear rings for my babe!!!!! My husband and I went in to buy me a LOVE bracelet for Christmas. During this time of Covid, appointments have to be made in advance so we made arrangements and the manager Sanford Lee gave us great service. Sanford has this friendly jovial disposition... extremely professional yet very down to earth at the same time. Although we went in for the LOVE bracelet, he showed us anything we were interested in while always taking great measure to sanitize items as they were put back. He explained the history of the love bracelet since this was my first one and talked about care and maintenance. He helped assist putting the bracelet on and allowed my husband to turn the screw to seal our Love. Lol. Service and safety measures were spot on and everyone was friendly and professional. Before we left, he brought over a special Christmas gift cart and we selected the hot chocolate bombs which were amazing! They gift wrapped the box so beautifully and included a jewelry cleaner set . My then fiancé and I were shopping for wedding rings & we thought we'd try Cartier. They had a pretty selection in the back room but unfortunately no one was there to help us. We thought maybe it was because there were other people in the store who were being helped so we decided to keep ourselves busy with one of the books. Minutes passed and no one came. No greeting, no "I'll be with you shortly", nothing. Nada. This was weird since my usual experience with jewelers includes a greeting upon entering the store or a greeting as you walk further into the store if they are busy in the front. Came here today with my mother to purchase a watch for her! I would highly suggest making an appointment but they do take walk-ins. For us, they had an available associate ready to help us but they have limited staff and it does take time to purchase and check out. Miwa was our SA and greeted us and introduced herself to us. She was very friendly throughout the whole process and my mother was very happy with her purchase. The door staff was courteous and asks you to sanitize upon entering. Even though at one point there was no one in the store, the door staff was constantly cleaning and sanitizing which is awesome because I felt safe bringing my 7mo son here. While waiting for Miwa to adjust my mother's watch, I heard a customer tell the other SA "A1 service!" and later, a local couple walking out tells another SA "she was so nice." There's a reason why this place has good ratings. After our purchase, we walked over to Louis Vuitton and was followed and given bad customer service. Wow! Wow! Wow!! What an awesome experience we had at the Cartier Boutique at Ala Moana Mall. The smiles started 2 weeks before we even arrived in Hawaii. I was lucky enough to be put in touch with the most lovely saleswoman Ola. I wanted to buy a Juste un Clou ring for my anniversary. She said she would locate the ring and have it sent to the boutique in Honolulu for me. She kept in touch with me via text to let me know that the ring was on it's way and then when it had actually arrived. We picked up the ring and it was perfect! What made the day very very special was how sweet and helpful Ola was. She truly went out of her way to make our celebratory day extra special. Nadya is the reason that I will definitely come back again and again. We were trying on Clash ring and the Tank watch. Nadya was so patient and let me try on different sizes and styles. I didn't buy anything at that time but I became friends with Nadya. She gave me so many good recommendations on places to visit. I was at this location on ala Moana Blvd back in 2018 at Christmas time. I picked up a love ring from Mr. Wang. This was my first purchase. No cleaning solution was given. He promised to send it to me and did not. I'm from Ohio so No boutique's near me. I just forgot about it and figured oh well. Now my 2 Nd Cartier purchase love bracelet. Not from this location but from online this treatment was far worse. The bag they sent was filthy dirty, no pillow for the travel pouch, no wax stamp, no cleaning solution. I've called twice nothing in 2 weeks. I emailed she asked for my order number I gave it to her never heard back. Could be pandemic times not sure. I'm really hesitant to order the last item. I would have never thought such a thing would happen to me, or shall I say to my husband. I own several Cartier pieces such as the love bracelets I own the white gold with sapphires etc. & yellow gold in 4 diamonds(such beautiful pieces) and love rings. Not only I shop Cartier but also along my family. So story is, I was so busy with traveling and haven't had the time to buy a certain jewelry such as the "rose gold wedding band", I was too busy to go in and so I had my husband go into the boutique for me and have him purchase the ring. Later that day, after a long day of excitement knowing that I have a new ring waiting for me at home, I had called him to thank him so much. Then came to find out he tells me his experience there; he told me that he wasn't greeted, and he had a feel that he was being looked down on, and he felt like he was being rushed, and I asked him if they offered him anything to drink and he said no. So then I video chatted him through FaceTime and showed me what he bought. I asked him if there was the cleaner, and he said no, I also asked him if there was the travel sack and he also said no, and what really got me was that they didn't give him the hard cover authentication card holder. If we're going to be spending money on luxury goods I expect to have the full package of what is supposed to be provided. Tho me and my husband are very well off in what we do, my husband is such a humble hard working man, and to see him be treated in such way just saddens me. And I don't think I could ever send him to do such a thing and he even told me in advance "what if they look at me differently" and it was true that day with the stereotypical SA's. As for me all my Cartier pieces were purchased in different countries, such as Japan, Tokyo boutique and in Paris, and I was treated with such class and respect and grace and such joy; the "VIP" way. The purchases I make hold a sentiment behind them and people who help me get them or in the process hold a part in that certain piece. And of course when I travel back I'd go and visit them, I wouldn't even have to purchase anything and they still complimented me with champagne. I have many SA's also for my bags and other high designer bags and they all greet me and always make me feel like I belong there. It's hard to see SA's as such, they're hard to come by. I would rate this boutique no stars, but I will give them two because 1; I love Cartier and 2; I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because I know there are good in people. And hopefully if I return there(because I live in Hawaii) I will be greeted by an SA that will treat me the way a client is supposed to be treated. By the way..... I had such a bad experience with this brand. Their watches are such a poor quality, the specs say one thing and sales reps suggest other things, like keep your watch away from your phone and DO NOT wash your hands wearing the watch. Also forgetting to include authenticity letter in your purchase, and "forgetting" to include the red case/box which comes standard with any purchase. I am so sick and tired going back and forth asking for things that i paid for. I used to be a fan of their iconic pieces, but the service and quality TURNS ME OFF! I hope Cartier adjusts their specs on their watches and improves their service. #meh read more

AMAZING SERVICE!!!!!!!!! We stopped in to see if we could get my Love ring engraved. We don't have a Cartier in the state I live so I knew there would be a chance they had to send it out then mail it back to me and I was prepared to do that but when I got there they had told me that they just got in the machine to engrave that week and they were pretty sure they could do it while I was there shopping at the mall. I was so pleased that I was able to get it back in less than an hour. When we were sitting down at a desk multiple employees engaged with my son. It was his birthday that day. They went in the back and brought out bags and bags of cookies and candy for him as a present. And of course he also got the Cartier coloring book and Crayons. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. as much as i like their, well, everything, i have to admit their service should be better and that's what most of the customers are expecting from this kind of high-end stores. i shopped at the waikiki store years ago and wasn't impress at their service at all! i ended up buy something from the ala moana store and i became their regular. i often receive their greeting cards and catalogs. however, i've noticed they have stopped doing this if you don't make any purchase within a year. being realistic, how many people can really buy something there more than few times a year? so they think you don't "deserve" a greeting card/catalog if you don't make as many purchases as before? well, not that i need/want their greeting cards/catalogs but being take off from their mailing list isn't what a customer wants. however, they do treat me nicely whenever i go, even without any purchases, though. read more
