I'm very impressed with this Safeway's Fresh Cut and customer service on Valentine's Day!…read more It was crazy busy, and the three employees I spoke to seemed upbeat and motivated. The Starbucks gals were all smiles and even looked for me to give me my wrap. The main lines were LONG. I was only purchasing a fruit cup from fresh cut produce, so I went to floral. These ladies are having their busiest day of the year and the older lady there, (I believe her bame was Kathy?) said she can ring me up! That was so nice her, going above and beyond! As for their fresh cut, I worked at a Safeway doing fresh cut for a year. I know how it can be to pick all the good berries without mold, or get a bad shipment of berries with mold. Many fresh cuts i've bought from with berries will have some mold on them. However, this Safeway's fresh cut berry cups had FLAWLESS berries! No mold at all. So either their team is new, they know how to conveniently sort out the bad fruit, or got a good shipment! Glad I can eat the berries, especially in the dark, fully trusting that each one is in good condition. Whatever the cause, I was so impressed I had to come back for a berry cup after our weekend trip to Canada. Well done!!

The park this market is at is perfect for a stroll and when you buy food from one of the local vendors you can find a nice spot on the grass to enjoy it. There were a lot of Christmas themed booths and toy drives plus a duo reading Christmas stories on stage when I walked by at the end of July. Normally this would be weird but I love the PNWs randomness and wouldn't question it. Or visit one of their friendly booths to inquire about Arlington. Zipped Stocking Co was the first stand to catch my full attention. These stockings are handmade to hold so many goodies. An entire wine bottle can comfortably nest in these and you can zip it up for safe keeping. The feel of these is so soft and they have the cutest designs like festive avocados! Magik Bathtime had really cool bath bundles that they're raffling off and I'm sure everyone would love to win one! I love the dreamy look of their collections. One stand I will definitely be looking up online is Pacific North Tess. Everything about this booth is perfection. They print your dogs custom portrait on a t shirt or sweater, have all too relatable bumper stickers, plus groovy tye dye attire.

Terrible staff that are on autopilot when I am trapped with a homeless person fearing for my life…read more I bought some food and when I left to put in my car this homeless guy stopped me and asked for money. I don't have cash. And I told him. He asked for a coffee and was walking towards me. I wasn't near my car. He asked for a coffee and I was like okay. so we walked to Starbucks inside the store. And yes I'm including the Starbucks worker in this because she was horrible and did not pick up on distress signals. It was on a Monday around 4 pm. I got the guy a drink and a sandwich. But before that I was stuck in line because the barista was stuck talking to a Safeway worker. I just sat there like girl can you please hurry this up I am in fear for my life. The guy kept standing close to me. But the barista kept talking to her friend and took her time. She finally got my order but just acted without a care. Then the guy wanted Mac and cheese from the store. Like the made stuff in the heated display case. And just my luck there were 2 people in front of me there was a small family, and an older woman. The small family got their food and then the clerk. Who was an older gentleman- was helping the lady before me. And again they both see me standing next to this homeless guy that is orbiting around me. I look so uncomfortable. I am clutching my purse and the older woman keeps staring at us and glancing at us and I'm giving her a look I was staring at her like please help. But she proceeded to take her time to take her order and even the clerk too he was taking his sweet time. He was on auto pilot. He was not working with any kind of urgency or anything like that. I don't know. I'm just a little perturbed because I was in distress. There was a homeless guy who was Talking to himself hitting balloons, basically causing a little bit of a disturbance and he was orbiting around me because he trapped me and I'm just like oh my God someone help. But no everyone just stops and stairs and the workers just have no sense of safety kind of protocol or anything like that. They're just on auto pilot mindless bots. But anyways, he goes to the back and takes five minutes to check on something for her and then that small family from earlier had dropped some of their food so this older woman told the clerk hey they just dropped their food. Can you get them some more food and I'm like dude really. I hope this old woman is reading this. You are a failure to society and to womanhood. As for the clerk, I'm also disappointed in you too when I talk to you, my voice was shaky, and I was scared. And my face was red because I was scared. And then we took the rest of the mac & cheese that was in the pot, and the homeless guy asked me if we could add more, and I told him that that was everything in the pan and then he proceeded to ask the clerk if there was more in the back and the clerk said oh it's gonna be like 30 minutes and then the guy was like OK and I thought that was that but the clerk proceeded to tell him that we have microwavable mac & cheese sitting in this aisle over here, and he kept talking to him, trying to upsell the guy. Like dude what are you trying to upsell this shit's coming out of my pocket. I felt so uncomfortable so displeased and so disturbed that this clerk was trying to tell the guy that he can get more mac & cheese, but it will have to be microwaved and everything. I was just so upset like dude just take the hint. Anyways, I don't like how the workers had no spatial awareness. Unfortunately but fortunately never going back there again.

Dalia is the owner and sole operator of Blueberry Acres. She operates during season Mondays-Saturdays from 9:00am-6:00pm. This year (2013) the price for u-pick is $1.90, which is the same as last year's price. Her blueberries are mostly organic. She sprays only once at the beginning of crop. There is an outhouse on site. She takes cash and local checks only. These are the best and biggest blueberries I have ever tasted. Go and experience it for yourself, before the season is over. She also has a Facebook page: "Blueberry Acres". Enjoy, you'll be glad I sent you! Taking the kiddos with you? Be sure to read 'Blueberries for Sal" before you set out.
