So no suprise that the line was to the door when I entered but, they were surprisingly fast and I got to the front in no time! Went to Carvel and ordered a vinalla shake tonight. Going inside, the place was packed with people, and limited places to seat. The shake went for around $5 for a medium which isn't too bad when you think about it, but not great. Wanted an ice cream cake to celebrate my dad's birthday. Went online and saw that Carvel had easy online ordering so I did just that. Simple, fast, couple of options to pick from and you can pay online or at the store. 5 minutes order was placed. I was happy. I got my confirmation email so, day of the pickup I went in the store and asked for my cake. They could not find my order. :/. They looked and looked but nothing. I showed them my confirmation email, and as it was a simple order they were able to make it on the spot in less than 5 minutes. They apologized for the inconvenience, they worked fast and hard to make it right and get me the cake I needed, and even gave me a discount for the it. While waiting for my cake, I was able to see this location is popular. Customer after customer kept coming in, either for shakes, root beer floats, soft served or regular ice cream (which they have a good variety of flavors) or ordering costume cakes, and they served everyone in a friendly and timely manner. They also have tons of pre-made cakes in different sizes in case you need something last minute. So, now I know to call or go in person to order, instead of doing it online to make sure my order is there, but also know I have a good place to get some frozen treats with great service. read more

I love getting an ice cream cone at Carvel. I always get the soft serve, usually chocolate. The ice cream is creamy and delicious. This Carvel is open until 10 pm, which makes it a great place to get dessert after going out to dinner. Customers seem to love this place because there's always people coming or going whenever I'm there. It probably helps that there aren't any other ice cream parlors nearby. The prices are reasonable compared to most other places that sell ice cream cones, They have signs up advertising specials on different days. I want to come back on Wednesday when they have buy one get one free ice cream sundaes, They also sell ice cream cakes which are perfect for an ice cream lovers birthday. I would have given five stars but I deducted one star because the few tables and chairs they have are often dirty. I know people have been sitting there with drippy ice cream, but it's not very appetizing to eat at a sticky table. Dairy Queen is cool, but really, have you ever seen them run by English speaking people? I'm not even sure they clean out those machines plus they sell those disgusting looking microwaved hot dogs. Give me a chocolate/vanilla twist on a cone and I'm set. But chill with those price increases. The cone costs 10 cents and maybe another 35 cents for the powered ice cream. Hello, I wanted to come in and say I love carvel but I had a big issue there the other day. On Monday around 7pm I made a mistake with my ice cream order and i kindly asked the employee to switch out my ice cream, she already made this one so I am sorry for that small mistake. When I said "sorry are you able to get me the purple flavor please" she said oh my f*ing god in the rudest way. I mean i go to carvel every two days and I have never seen such a rude employee. The owners are very nice and I have much respect for them and I couldn't imagine me being disrespected like that. To add on when I payed she threw my card across the counter and I was super surprised cause I have never had a problem their. The owners and the ice cream are great but I am really surprised about what happend. I am gonna leave three stars because I love carvel but I am still disappointed on what happend. The employee had a tattoo on her arm if I'm not wrong and she had a pony tail and she was maybe mid 20s ish. she has served me many times and I again have never had a problem.
