I attended Carysfort National School myself and I thought it was a wonderful little primary school. Back when I went it was a lot smaller and a lot less developed.
It is great to see how well the school has being doing and they have added on a new wing, but the school is still small enough. They used to own a lot more of the fields out the back of the school but that has mostly been sold off now which is a shame for current students.
The school is mixed, goes from junior infants to sixth class and a uniform is required. The staff are very pleasant and well educated. They cover everything from math to irish to sports to music and art. Its in a handy location.
It is by no means a big school with lots of equipment, but they offer a broad education and I really enjoyed my time there. read more
