    Sketty with the works.

I've been dining at the Cas for over thirty years, and I hope to log at least thirty more. We dropped in a Wednesday night, and even in the middle of the week it's busy. We were greeted and seated by the owner, and every employee treats you like a member of the family. I usually get the beef tips, but went with spaghetti with the works instead. The plate was loaded with huge peppers, tasty sausage and amazing meatballs, all topped with a great sauce. My wife got the short order of broiled haddock, with butter and garlic and topped with almonds. Delish.

Salad ! Comes with the meal...

Pleasant surprise! This place has been around for over 50 years...I never ate here but after reading reviews we stopped in. Hubbie had the manicotti and the meatballs- absolutely great- I had the spaghetti with peppers and mushrooms- a home run! Really clean ins ide- good service- my beer was not the coldest and would have preferred the good bread to be warm...overall I certainly will be back!!! Real authentic Italian good sauce! The homemade salad dressing was wonderful!!! Of course Italian!

Had lunch here. Not crowded at all. Good food and good so. We'll go back and try dinner there before we leave.

The red sauce is some of the best I've had and the home made Italian dressing is excellent.

Unfortunately,…read morewe couldn't sit outside because of the rain, but our table inside still offered a great view of the water. The restaurant wasn't crowded, but there were enough guests to give it a nice atmosphere. It felt comfortable, relaxed, and not noisy at all. We started with the Kung Pao Cauliflower, which was excellent. Even my kids, who don't usually enjoy vegetables, ate every bite. For their meals, both kids ordered brick oven pizzas. My older child had the Labrador and finished the entire pizza by himself, while my younger child ordered the Authentic with pepperoni and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered the fish of the day, and I chose the scallop special. Overall, the food was very good, the service was pleasant, and the waterfront setting made for an enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

I was confused as to whether that's the norm, as almost every table was available, yet they expected that we had reservations. Sat outside and our waitress wasn't very quick, to our dismay. Drinks were terrible (Bloody Mary and matcha latte) but food was great. Took us much, much longer than we expected for a "quick" lunch, about two hours, but left happy and fed, overall.

Jake's on the Water - The contrast of lighting doesn't show this well, but we had an "interior" table tucked well back but still had a great river/lake/flow view.

went last night for Italian night. awful. lasagna was on the menu but that was the only Italian…read moredish on the italian menu. there is nothing Italian about chicken bacon ranch pasta. Anyway I ordered chicken parm off the regular menu with a posted price $16.95 and requested spaghetti instead of angel hair was told no problem. asked if there were any rolls or italIan bread. Waitress said no but I can butter a piece of white bread if you want. Declined her offer. Meal came out with angel hair instead of spaghetti. Sauce looked and tasted like chef boy a Dee. Bill came and was charged $18.95. Questioned the waitress and said she would find out why. came back and pointed to the bottom of the menu where it said that menu items and prices are subject to change. I understand that but one should be told that the price you see on the menu is not the actual price of the meal. What made it worse was the tone in her voice as she was saying it-very degrading. Last year when we visited they were adding a service charge to the bill which turned out to be a server gratuity but if you didn't check your bill and seen it you would have still left a tip on top of that. I noticed that it was no longer on the bill this time around so there must have been complaints. I won't be going back to this restaurant again. Buyer beware
