Checking out the reviews of my fellow yelpers, there is nothing i can add but to translate it…read morereally quick, this cool and not so crowed plaza/park, well it isnt that small thou, the one on the side of the zocalo its muuuuch smaller.
Anyhow, u cant get anything better than this, specially when you been walking for hours and want to find a place where to sit for sure, you have access to metrobus, ecobici station and an underground way, less crowed one, to the subway to zocalo or pinosuarez thru a book passage, that has its even snack bar and conference area,
Place its full of history, has a church across the street that could be the oldest church remaining around, which where i made some of the catholic costumes when i was younger, on the insides the remains of the first hospital in america with the remains of the conqueror Hernan Cortes, around you see the newer hospital, and just like that there must be way many stories about this place if interested.
This place has been my neutral point for meeting up with friends that come and go around downtown, just because its that quiet and chill and has space to have kids run around, on weekends u can find a blind group that will play good popular songs that will always invite people dance, at night times this is also a place where ancient dancers will gather at night time.
