The area is one one the "nicer" areas / overrated of course , but yet nice to walk and go around on the bike at, however even thou this roundabout leaves alot to wish for after its recent touch up, it seems like the corners around this area specially the lil garden areas where there is lil fountains and some benches, which are really left to its own, there is trash all over it and idont know its sad to see them just there and worst its that there is a bussiness or two that are expensive ones and still will clean them up, i mean its just how you can see that no matter how nice the area alot of people can think about la roma, u can still see how dirty, miss treated and overrated can be. Overall well its packed with valet parkins in the edges, so always have to be dealing with this people that thinks that own the street but yet do nothing to keep it clean.

Checking out the reviews of my fellow yelpers, there is nothing i can add but to translate it…read morereally quick, this cool and not so crowed plaza/park, well it isnt that small thou, the one on the side of the zocalo its muuuuch smaller. Anyhow, u cant get anything better than this, specially when you been walking for hours and want to find a place where to sit for sure, you have access to metrobus, ecobici station and an underground way, less crowed one, to the subway to zocalo or pinosuarez thru a book passage, that has its even snack bar and conference area, Place its full of history, has a church across the street that could be the oldest church remaining around, which where i made some of the catholic costumes when i was younger, on the insides the remains of the first hospital in america with the remains of the conqueror Hernan Cortes, around you see the newer hospital, and just like that there must be way many stories about this place if interested. This place has been my neutral point for meeting up with friends that come and go around downtown, just because its that quiet and chill and has space to have kids run around, on weekends u can find a blind group that will play good popular songs that will always invite people dance, at night times this is also a place where ancient dancers will gather at night time.
