The food is always fantastic when I come here. We have not tried the dining area but have only ordered to go. The pizza is great and we are here every week during football season for our pizza and wings. I have tried to go their Ravioli Antonino that is a blush red sauce with tomato and spinach. My boyfriend had gotten the Lasagna which was a big portion. The raviolis pictured are double the size of regular ones and there were 6 along with salad and garlic bread. What stands out is that their garlic bread has minced pieces of garlic and tomatoes and the side salad comes with peppers which is a nice touch versus your average salad. I highly recommend eating here!! Plus the guy Joe was very helpful and there was a girl that usually helps and is friendly, I think her name's Gianna. All around great Italian restaurant to eat at. Food is good, there is no denying that. The service is adequate, and the ambiance is that of a nice pizza parlor. But over the recent past prices have increased disproportionately higher than that of similar locations, and they've instituted a 3.5% "service charge" for payment other than cash. But most disappointing is that they have shrunken their portions significantly. During recent visits I've had lasagna, and most recently I had the veal parm entree. Both were shockingly small. I thought the lasagna was small during my prior visit, but I just attributed it to one of those things, but with the recent veal parm experience, you can clearly see that shrinking the portions is part of their strategy to help offset rising costs or decreased attendance. There comes a point where an establishment has to realize what it is (it's a pizza parlor), and too much is too much for what you're getting. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for fare that's just as good and more reasonable in price and portion size. I will be choosing elsewhere for casual Italian from here on in. read more

The food was super good! Authentic Italian the appetizers were hot and the seafood was fresh. Stuffed mushrooms were full of crab meat! Sweet and savory. The calamari was fried perfect and fresh no rubbery texture at all smooth and buttery. The complementary bread was perfect and the peppers to accompany were Devine roasted to perfection. The owner came out and greeted us and checked on us. His entire family was there having dinner and it warmed my heart. All the food is cooked with Italian love. Best Alfredo I have ever had. Went to the restaurant part of Casa D'Amico tonight for my wife's birthday. Dining area was very nice and elegant. Service was just ok. As for my meal I ordered the Shrimp Parmigiana. Menu stated " shrimp dipped in a batter in tomato sauce and then baked to perfection. Well what i got was 5 pieces of shrimp on top of linguini covered with mozzarella cheese. Medium size shrimp. Price $26.95. Very very disappointing. Shrimp was not in a batter or even baked. For the price i would not recommend this place. Waitress did take 10% off the bill. Saved a whole $7. read more

My review is based off of take out and delivery. I have never dined in. This is your neighborhood takeout joint. Very good pizza, sandwiches and pasta. We have ordered everything off the menu but desserts. The calamari is hand cut and breaded. Even though we get it to go it is still yummy. Meatballs are homemade not bought. Portions in their entrees are hefty. I do like the fact they have a separate entrance for their takeout and one for dine in. Friendly girl answered the phone, that's a plus. But the food .. not so much. And they charge 3.5% fee for using your card? Which had I known about this ahead of time like maybe when I ordered I would have brought cash. The guy that gave me the food wasn't the most pleasant but whatever. When I grabbed the box I thought it was empty. It was so light for having 2 pizza turnovers in it. Then both myself and my daughter thought they smelled funny but we couldn't figure out what it was so we just hoped it was just a smell but it was also a funny taste so I am not sure if something was old or rotten or the sauce was older but something was def off. My cauliflower pizza with peppers and onions was INCREDIBLE- the crust was thin and crispy, not at all cauliflower-like. My fiance doesn't like cheese and they correctly made his goofy "pizza" with just sauce and pepperoni as requested. The kind counter folks were pleasant and quick to pick up from too. Had a party last night for my wife's birthday and had a great experience. The food was excellent and Vinnie the owner was very accommodating and continuously checked on us throughout the night. I noticed a review mentioning a case of beer being in sight. Friday night the day before the party, we dropped off beer and wine so we didn't have to worry about bringing everything the day of. I'm sorry that they may have seen my byob liquor that was meant for us the next day but this place and most other family owned restaurants in the area are byob. We were seated right away and I ordered the lamb rack special, and my mom got the tortellini in a cream sauce. As we were waiting, the owner/chef came out to talk to us for a bit. What a great guy! Ordered three dinners from here for pickup tonight around 630/700. This used to be our go-to for hearty pasta dinners that wasn't just some run of the mill generic Italian sandwich shop (which we have a glut of in this area). This was the last night we'll order, however. It wasn't so much the mediocre food but the atrocious service we received afterwards. I was sitting next to the person who placed the order - 1 meatball sadwich/extra sauce, Gnocchi Blush Sauce, and Penne blush sauce/side of sausage. Pretty stock order. My dad brings it home and - there's a sausage sandwich instead of meatball. The gnocchi platter didn't have much food at all, but I just assumed they'd decided to cut back portions. The flavor was bland. Mom thought her penne was passable. Garlic bread received had raw garlic on it, which is weird. I called D'Amicos pretty soon after we discovered the error to let them know that they sent us someone else's sandwich and to see if they would send us out a new one. The gentleman on the other end argued with me, telling me that the lady he spoke with definitely ordered it. I advised him no, that was not the case, as I heard her order it. I asked for another to be delivered and he initially asks if I'd be comfortable with a 20-30m wait. I agree. He says he'll have it done in 5 if I just come get it. No - I won't. He argues with me again, this time telling me it will be a 45 min wait for delivery. I still agree and we confirm my address. It's now 1105pm and we're still waiting for the sandwich. I'm remaining hopeful we'll get it in time for New Year's. Here's the thing. Even if you're 100% convinced that you and your perfect ears heard something that did not in fact happen - you are a business dependent on customers. I don't care what bad day you had, if you feel bloated or if you burnt the ravioli. I paid for food that didn't come out right AND I even came to get it from you. Just drop off another sandwich and keep the repeat business. Damn. Edit: my dad spoke with the owner a few days later and fulfilled his promise of bringing the sandwich back. They had a wonderful chat and resolved the issue. My dad says he's pleased with how the conversation went and feels good about the interaction. read more
