Highly recommend if you are in Buenos Aires Argentina. As you know, Argentina has a rate fluctuation since their financial crisis in 2001 and therefore you can't currency exchanged in USA. You had to go the nation and have it exchanged there. However, it is not all black and white and that straight forward. I try to look at many sources like Google and You Tube and was so baffled.
Most rudimentary way is at the airport but the rates are so high and you will get less that the rate offered. Then various Blue Market version way of obtaining cash mostly located on Calle Florida through various arbolitos shouting cambio various tourists, but all have various rates, and many with spurious money.
Finally I googled Cambio and found Casa Cambio de Rimini with great reviews and it was just four blocks from my hotel on Paraguay St. As I walked in I greeted the woman in Spanish, and yes she spoke some English. I exchanged 200 USD for Argentine Pesos that day and as the rate fluctuated I doubled my pesos in return which was 144000 pesos. On 6 September 2023 it was equivalent to 400 USD. I was like wow and so relieved. Be sure to bring your passports or ID when you exchange. read more
