Most of the dishes here are not light, but they were all delicious, save one: The Caldo de Camarão, a shrimp soup that probably is delicious, which someone wiped out with more salt in it than the ocean next door. We tried the Camarão Jangadeiro, four fried shrimp stuffed with catupiry, a delicious, mild soft cheese much less sour than cream cheese. The Escondidinho de Bacalhau is a medium ramekin with a delish salted cod in a cheesy cream sauce, A few small bones got missed, but it was spectacular. Now incredibly full, last we tried the Camarão ao Coco, shrimping a rich, flavorful coconut sauce. Best of the meal! As eating out is often a big, hours-long group social activity, and while it's affordable for Americans, and Europeans with our currency exchange rates, it's a very dear meal for Brazilians. They have a number of two person and family sized dishes that keep the cost per person more in-line. The bar, for mixed drinks, was great! The caipirinha was generous and presented in a fun coconut cup. Two big outdoor view decks and a massive dining room, along with a pet-friendly outdoor patio make this a fun place to hang out, eat, and talk. They have live music. There's a charge for it, whether you can hear it, or not, depending upon where you are seated. I don't mind. Supporting live local music is great! Lots of TVs, in the main indoor rooms, are on for big sporting days, like the World Cup. Parking can be a bit challenging, but it's worth the effort!

First off, I came here like 3 nights in a row in the same week in 2017. We had a large group and they let us stay there for hours... not a normal thing in the USA. They would have definitely shooed us out well before the time we left. All the food all three nights was delicious. I did not order and was with different groups of Brazilians all having me try different things. I know we had a variety of pastels and other things. Sure I will update my review with pictures once we come back.
