The one of the dishes of the day was herbed rice with pulled duck. It was quite tasty, a bit salty but flavorful. We also tried the steak tartare sandwich which came open- faced on a slice of hearty wheat bread covered in sour cream and piled high with minced meat and a cracked egg. Be forewarned that this is raw meat and a raw egg. However with the freshest ingredients this can be quite tasty. Here, they've done steak tartare right. Yet another reason to be impressed by this small unassuming German restaurant.
