My go-to spot at Galeão. I've always liked Casa do Pão de Queijo for coffee and snacks, but it's especially good when waiting for a flight. Whether it's morning, afternoon, or in the middle of the night, you can't go wrong with a cappuccino and some pão.
This particular location has a handful of tables, but there is always spillover room at this end of the airport if you want to sit somewhere else. The staff here is helpful if you speak Portuguese, but their English is pretty limited so at least go into it with the expectation that you may be pointing at menu items if you don't speak the language.
As with all other restaurants like this, don't forget to give your receipt to the food preparer or else you may be waiting forever for a food and drink they never come. read more
