The interior is designed with much love for detail while at the same time allowing the sun to flood the large space through the main street-facing windows. Definitely try the pain au chocolat and the quinoa with cinnamon, banana and vegetable milk! The coffee and the very friendly staff would be reasons enough to visit this place.

We had walked past many stands where they sold generic ice cream brands and decided to continue our hunt for better hopefully homemade gelato. And around the corner the words "I'll Gelato del Mercato appeared and better yet, they had.. fresh, artisan, no artificial flavours or colouring GELATO! The woman, who I assume was the owner, let us try almost all of the 8-10 flavours as we tried to communicate across our mixed languages: white chocolate with basil, dark chocolate with no milk, vanilla with egg, honey and toasted gofio, guyabana/soursop/guanabana, passionfruit/Maracuja, persimmon, cheesecake, yogurt, and one more I can't remember! We opted for three greedy scoops each (€3) so we didn't have to decide - dark chocolate, honey and toasted gofio, and guyanabana for me and passionfruit, cheesecake and white chocolate basil for him. The passionfruit flavour was powerful and out of this world! Chocolate was heavenly. Best of all, the woman was so friendly. Highly recommend!

The ones I tried were dulce de leche and maracuyá (passion fruit). Maracuyá was my absolute favorite. I loved that the cinnamon roll bun was just soft enough and that cinnamon was not the overpowering dominant flavor. They also had some tantalizing looking éclairs I'll have to try another day. The coffee was good. I also appreciate how friendly our waiter was and how he gave us helpful recommendations for local activities and places to dine.
