There are roughly 3 blocks of galleries, jewelry stores, Indian shops and collectibles and restaurants. I used to live just out side the actual village... it's a great place to visit and shop. Personally the Arizona heat was just not for me. But Zforrest has had a gallery in Tubac for years. A year or so ago, the closed and everyone was disappointed. While they carry high end art work, home goods, furniture, jewelry & some clothing accessories it's alway great to "window shop." Although everytime I've done that I still manage to walk away with a small purchase. Photos below are some of their current "wares." The shop is very welcoming and the ladies working here have always been kind and helpful. I also appreciated that they were dog friendly when I came through with my pup. They have a great variety of artwork - paintings, ceramics, statue like art, fountains, and jewelry. I find that this location of theirs consistently has great art. I've only made it down here every few years but I'm always impressed with what's on display for them every-time I come. The pricing is more reasonable for the pieces and quality. Cobalt is the best addition to the town & helps break up the overflow of Mexican pottery and decor.
