This was a great place to grab a couple quick slices at the end of a long day! We stopped in about an hour before they closed and got their 2 slice & a drink special and added a side salad. The pizza slices are ginormous! I got the pepperoni and was not disappointed. Food came out quick too.

Very good subs! They offer pizza by the slice, instead of having to buy a whole pizza. The tiramisu was great as well!!!!!!!!!!! I think it was be a great place to bring the family or for date night. Is a little on the expensive side.

I walked in as they just opened. The place is clean all the way through. The price isn't bad for what you get. This is your pizza slice Italian joint. Everyone was friendly that was working there. I ordered 2 slices as it was just lunch. I don't know what they do different but the flavor was different from most. It was nice and hot and had a good crisp. I'll be back to try other items here as I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Broken chairs but st least the employees where constantly doing something. Either cleaning or prepping. Food was ok. $5 foe a slice of pizza seems steep. The sub my husband got had little meat. It was over $30 for 2 people 2 drinks 2 slices of pizza, deep fried ravioli, and 1 sub. Not sure if we would visit again.

Ordered online for delivery. The pizza arrived hot and the crust was crispy. They used fresh vegetables as well. Really excellent pizza!

Best pizza in Jacksonville but I'd recommend the pepperoni pizza rolls! Staff are always very friendly and the spaces inside are very clean.

For $5.99 and the cost of a drink,…read moreyou can sit and eat multiple slices of pizza, servings of salad, soup, pasta, and desserts. I've been to a few Cici's and they're all the same: a bunch of soccer moms with their kids clamoring around, folks bumping into each other, nasty staff... Memories made me die a little on the inside when my mother said she wanted to go. I didn't, but it was her day to choose lunch, so Cici's it was. But this Cici's was completely different! The staff was caring and professional. Took our plates when they were empty, engaged in conversation, and juggled the atmosphere of the entire restaurant which was extremely chaotic. There wasn't an empty seat! Mom ordered a thin crust sausage and bacon and she could not stop exclaiming how good it was. It obviously wasn't the best pizza in the world, but it was leagues better than what we had come to know as Cici's standard of quality. It was amazing! My favorite things were the salad bar and soup. I don't know if they changed the recipe lately, but that broth was heavenly. I had two cups of it. Just slurped it's down. Good job, Cici's. I look forward to my next visit!

We enjoy coming on Tuesdays for the pizza deal. Today we ordered the shotgun shrimp appetizer, a side salad, and the 33 Deluxe small pizza. We also decided to try a strawberry and a blackberry lemonade. After a short wait our shrimp and salad were delivered. Both were good. Our lemonades were delicious! Of course the pizza was delivered after we finished our appetizers. The pizza was great. Our server, EmilyB, was great. Always positive and smiling. We also noticed Japanese baseball was on. Didn't expect that honestly. This restaurant always has an active and vibrant atmosphere. There's seating for all types and television screens everywhere. During football season, this place is packed! The reviews are all over the place. We have always had a good experience here. If you're unsure about trying Bubba's 33, I recommend giving it a try. They have a variety that fits almost all appetites.

My thoughts have been compiling for three days and I think I'm finally ready to share them…read more This was a completely last-minute decision. Like, "we're already in the parking lot" last-minute. My daughter chose Bubba's 33 over Mission BBQ (which, for the record, I also have thoughts about, but that's another review). I'd never been to Bubba's before. Between all the hype around town and the endless debates in the local mom groups, I just never bothered. After this experience, I can confidently say my streak will likely continue. If you're looking for a place to waste time, Bubba's 33 absolutely delivers. Generously. Abundantly. Olympic-level time wasting. My 8-year-old and I waited about 20 minutes to be seated, which wasn't a huge deal. We got settled, our server greeted us, brought our drinks, and then apparently entered the Witness Protection Program. For roughly the next hour, she became more myth than employee. Meanwhile, tables seated after us were getting appetizers, entrees, refills, desserts, probably college degrees and retirement plans while we sat there staring at our drinks wondering if we'd somehow become invisible. Eventually our server reappeared and said, "I'm going to check on your food." Perfect. Except I then watched her walk to the POS system, print something, wander around a partition, stop and chat with another table, visit the table behind me, casually migrate to the hostess stand, disappear for about 30 seconds, reappear, make direct eye contact with me, and then immediately go help yet another table. At that point I wasn't sure if she was checking on my food or participating in a scavenger hunt. For context, our incredibly complex order consisted of: * Chicken tenders and fries. * A bowl of chili. That's it. Not a 12-course tasting menu. Not a custom-built wedding cake. Not an endangered truffle flown in from Europe. Chicken tenders. Fries. Chili. I've seen Amazon deliver furniture faster. The truly disappointing part is that we'd actually helped facilitate a jersey and helmet that ended up on their wall. So technically, I've contributed more to the décor than my server contributed to my dining experience. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. Maybe there was some catastrophe in the kitchen. Maybe my food is still being prepared right now as I type this review. All I know is that my first visit to Bubba's 33 somehow felt longer than most relationships I've been in. One star for the drinks arriving before retirement age. One star for teaching my daughter patience. Everything else remains under investigation.

I'll start by saying that I never planned to step foot in an Olive Garden again. I'm part Italian…read moreand have eaten at many Italian places, and somehow Olive Garden has become a thin veneer of a mockery of Italian cuisine in my eyes. So I also never expected that I'd be giving this one three stars even. In part, because they were able to seat our party of 5 pretty quickly, and the service was really good. They even didn't try to pass off the soft Romano as "Parmesan", but did have those graters always at the ready to offer more cheese. The ambiance - well, it's Olive Garden. There was a gas fireplace in the room we were in, but it wasn't lit at the time (June, in Jacksonville, NC, there would be no reason to). There's some faux stonework, but generally the space is forgettable. The food - I had the Minestrone (which the waitstaff mispronounced, without the final "e"). This soup is arguably an Olive Garden strength. It's pretty authentic in the ingredients, and the soups are made locally fresh. I also had the Chicken Alfredo. This is so far beyond Alfredo di Lelio's original recipe, it probably shouldn't be called that. Just call it "chicken fettuccine in a garlic cream sauce with broccoli as an option". I did get the broccoli also. That was blanched well and still firm but good when in the dish. There was a decent amount of a heavy garlic cream sauce and the pasta was ... OK. In past OG visits the pasta was clearly as if it had been pulled from a microwave. This was better than that, but still not amazing. The chicken was nearly undercooked. It was just enough that I trusted to eat it, but the staff definitely need to pay attention to that. Let's talk about those breadsticks. These of course are a selling point of OG, with bottomless breadsticks and the flavorless, nutrition-less cores of so much iceberg lettuce in the bowl they call "salad". The part that sells the bread is the brushed butter substance and the dusting of cheese, lending salt to the flavor as well. But as far as "bread" it's a spongy soft mess. I went because family wanted to, and I was polite and went with it. But I'd wager you can find even better Italian.
