Found this place from Strictly Dumpling YouTube blog and decided to take a long drive from Mansfield. This was such a unique concept for a churriscaria and fresh Italian. The food was amazing and just kept coming. I was so engrossed with the food I forgot to take pictures of the meat and pastas we had. All of the food including the desserts are phenomenal. My favorite meat was the flamed grilled taste of the piccana and the 12 hr Charcoal chicken. The food was fresh and we love the house made pastas. The flan was some of the best we've had around and the dense texture is exactly how I like my flan. We had two orders of the flan and the passionfruit mousse. The service was impeccable and we definitely plan to drive the hour again soon.

Five star experience very attentive & kind staff. So much food! It's too bad our other server slipped & fell, so he had to leave to attend to his injury. Please invest in some nonslip rug runners for the safety of your workers & patrons.

We decided to try this reading after reading the reviews. It's Brazillian and Italian. They serve you bread, appetizer, salad and soup before they start offering the meats. Appetizers was good especially the grilled cheese with honey & fried pollenta ( ithink) . The soup was pretty good too. I enjoyed the pasta selection. I like how they give you small portions so I was able to taste everything and not get too full on carbs. I especially like the 4 cheese pasta. The meat served was just okay. Picanha was tough despite us having it medium rare. Not too much option on the meats. We knew that going in but to have the the Picanha tough is just sad. The Fraldinha was okay. Overall, the quality did not satisfy us. We are more meat lovers than pasta lovers. The desserts, the flan and passion fruit were okay. The red wine with tapioca pearls I will avoid next time. Service and Ambiance was good.

My wife recommended this place. This place is an all you can eat, but they come and serve you the food. We ended up eating all of the menu items, but just remember it is just a taste test of most. Here is what you are served first 1. Bread with three spreads (herb butter, sun-dried tomato and eggplant tapenade 2. Sopa de Capeletti - chicken broth soup with some food that looks like tortellini 3. Salad Arrangement - wanted more of this 4. Potato Salad - I enjoyed this 5. Queijo Assado com Mel - cheese with honey - this one was alright, they took this one away fast before we finished 6. Polenta frita - definitely like 7. Bolinha de Queijo - fried pepper jack cheese - eat this when hot, but not cold 8. Half of a chicken - dark meat was moist, but the white meat was dry After all of these eight are served, the servers will have a bowl of pasta or a meat platter. 1. Guava Ravioli - this is one of my favorite, but sometimes they undercooked it as it was hard 2. Picanha - this one the meat is dry and tough would not recommend 3. Fraldinha - this one was cooked to perfection 4. Maccheroni al Rose Bolognese - this one was alright 5. Garlic chicken - this one is very salty 6. Spaghetti ai Quattro formaggi - would recommend, but I ended up getting full 7. Butternut squash ravioli - would recommend this one Dessert I ended up trying all four of them 1. Sagu com Creme - tapioca with the red wine, make sure you ask for this one 2. Mousse de Maracuja - mousse with passion fruit - this is very sour so if you do not like sour do not get this on 3. Brazilian flan- this one is good 4. Moouse de Chocolate - this one is alright The service was top notched that I over tip them. It was an all you can eat for $35 dollars which is definitely worth the money. Would come back here again.

We drive all the way from Austin just to eat here - that's how good they are. Service is top notch, they are so attentive all the time. Huge kudos to Marcelo who made our night extra special. Can't even describe how amazing the food is - from the little appetizers (fried cheese, polenta, sopa de capeletti, bread, potato salad), to the main courses... pastas were always my favorite but now I am addicted to their "galeto" (marinated chicken) which is legit from heaven! I dare to say their galeto is better than what we eat when we are in Brazil. We will continue to drive 3 hours to just eat here because this place is amazing!

We were staying at a hotel close by for work and saw Casa Pollastro on Yelps Top New Restaurants of 2024! We made a reservation for 15 online, then I called later to update it to 20..but if you have ever traveled with people from work and what it's like to try to make dinner plans, you'll understand that the number changes up until the last minute! So about 15 minutes before our reservation, I called again to update our reservation to 15! They were so friendly and so accommodating each time! Even when we walked in they were there to greet us with big smiles and sat us at our table that was set up and ready for us. The food was great!! The pasta was just okay, and the chicken was a little too salty...but everything else was so delicious and all 15 of us were raving about how great it was!! It is not your traditional rodizio...they do come around with the pasta, and 2 meats...but I was so happy that the picanha was cut in steak bites, every one of them was cooked perfectly and so so delicious! They have booths and a small room, plenty of tables and the ability to host big groups!! It was so nice!

I love the concept! So much food and for a great price. Food was good, and each course came quickly after the other. The only real negative was that they sat us and told us who our server would be, but then no one actually came by to take our drink order. We had to flag someone down to order drinks. But outside of that, it's great. Very clean and upscale decor. Decent for families/kids, as long as your kids are well behaved and enjoy new and interesting foods.

Casa Pollastro serves cuisine with an Italian and Southern Brazilian influence. The interior is newly remodeled within the last two years and nicely finished The staff are friendly, competent and clearly enjoy working there. They encourage ordering Brazilian, all you can eat for one price, but also serve a-la-carte. I sat at the bar and ordered a salad, chicken and a caipirinha a-la-carte. All were fresh and delicious. The bartender, Isadora, makes an excellent caipirinha! I like this place and have returned a couple of times. Its a good place to go with a group if you enjoy the all you can eat style if service. It a good deal if you are into that. The a la carte pricing is expensive, and they dont have happy hour pricing. For someone like me who wants to drop by alone, it gets expensive.. for example: two drinks and a (very) small salad ends up costing me more than $50 with tip.

Dessert menu it's starts with an M . Me and my mom had 5 IN TOTAL UT WAS DELICIOUS. One of a kind dessert

The meatballs were very succulent, bathed in a tomato gravy that you'd want to lick every drop of from the plate. The focaccia, on the other hand, had a pillowy interior, and the crust almost seemed caramelized, with a slight sweetness that paired nicely with the tartness of the tomato gravy. For our main course, we ordered the Cacio e Pepe, Spicy Gemelli, Pesto Rigatoni, and Bolognese--all were phenomenal. Then, to cap things off, we had a dreamy gelato, with a cloud of whipped cream, topped with pistachio and drizzled with olive oil. Service: Great! What you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I don't care for a lot of meat sometimes so I wouldn't have ordered it as my main but it really complimented the spicy gemelli - perhaps going halfsies would have been a nice option. Service was attentive and our dishes came out fast, we sat indoors beside the bar but the patio could have been a really nice option if you're a patio person. I typically am not. I have yet to find a Dallas Italian spot that I love more than my current no.1 back home (Donna's on Sunset in LA) but this meal was delish and I wouldn't rule out dining here again in the future.

But what really made the experience unforgettable was our server, Leigh. She went above and beyond in every way possible. She didn't just explain the menu- she told a story. From the background of the owner to the details of each dish, you could tell how much care and passion went into everything. She checked in at all the right moments, made sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely cared that we loved each bite. And the food... wow. It transported me to Italy. We started with the arugula salad with bresaola dressed with lemon - super refreshing - paired with the arancini. The bread dipped in the sauce was insane: perfectly crisp on the outside, with rich, flavorful rice inside. We shared the triangoli ravioli stuffed with ricotta and topped with mushroom, hazelnut, and parmesan, and it was incredible. The hazelnut added the perfect crunch and nutty depth. Then came the tagliatelle with wagyu bolognese--perfectly balanced, rich, and made even better with clearly homemade pasta. We finished savory dishes with the veal saltimbocca, and I swear it made me feel like I was sitting in Rome. The sauce was incredible, and the sage really brought everything together. But the true showstoppers? Dessert. My Italian grandma said the cannolo was the best she's ever had - and that says everything. Light, crisp, and not overly sweet. Then the chocolate dessert with olive oil and sea salt... I went in for two bites and somehow finished the entire thing without realizing. Easily the best chocolate dessert I've ever had. This place is out of this world. Would order all of these dishes again. In a city full of restaurants, this is one I will come back to every single time I'm in Dallas. Absolutely 5 stars. Brava.

I visited on a Wednesday evening with a comfortably moderate crowd; on busier nights you may want a reservation. I started with the fried calamari and a glass of wine. Presumably meaning wine, but we were considering cocktails and a bit confused by the question. He said "I'll come back when you're ready," and disappeared for the first of many long absences. From the beginning it felt like we were ruining his life. He was cheerless and curt and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. It would be more understandable if the restaurant was super busy or understaffed. But this was Monday at 6 pm. We listed a birthday on the reservation, but it wasn't acknowledged. Why bother to ask if we are celebrating? We waited for empty plates and glasses to be cleared between courses. We waited a long time for him to return so we could order a second glass of wine. Even longer for the plates to be cleared and longer still for the opportunity to order dessert...a piece of cake for the birthday girl and two after dinner drinks...but the drinks weren't picked up from the bar when the cake was delivered, and only remembered when we asked for the check. We watched him pick them up (well after the cake was consumed) on his way to leave the bill. No mention that they had been overlooked, no thank you, no good night. This was our first time at Barsotti's and it will be our last. Aside from the awful service, we had issues with the food as well. The veal was pounded paper thin and fried hard resulting in a tough, chewy texture similar to dried beef or jerky. It was dry and overcooked on two different dishes. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the fried ravioli appetizer and the redfish was fine. While our waiter was largely MIA and unpleasant when he did show up, the bus boy/assistant was gracious and attentive. Maybe he was trying to compensate for his colleague. BTW, the offensive employee was in his late 40s to mid 50s with a slight build and salt and pepper hair.
