This shopping mall has taken many…read moreprecautions to adjust to the current norms: they have temperature checks at all the mall entrances; there are many hand sanitizer stations throughout the mall; the escalators are all marked so that shoppers should use only every fourth step; the food court has installed plastic shields between all the tables and at and around all the food stands; all of the stores are posted with the maximum number of clients that are permitted in at the same time. The number of patrons seems much less than it used to be, but it is very nice to be able to go to the mall and pretend to be normal again.

They used to have a bakery, but sadly it closed. They also have a shop that sells gourmet foods, a coffee shop, a women's clothing boutique, a health food store and a children's play space. The building above is occupied by apartments, some of which can be rented out through various booking sites. It's located about a block away from one of the nicest beaches in the city, and is also close to many other restaurants and shops. Parking is usually available on-street, but they also have valet parking available, although I've never used it.

The food court is really not worth visiting unless you're starving. In addition to clothing stores for men and women, they have a gym, but it's small. If you're in the area and need something specific, it's worth stopping in, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here because there are other much larger shopping malls that have much better shopping options.

This mall is relatively small compared to some others in the city. The food court has about 20 or 25 fast food options, including Subway & Burger King, as well as "Chinese" and "Italian" fast food among others. Shopping options include many clothing stores, 2 department stores, travel agencies (does anybody use them anymore?), bank & ATMs, jewelry stores and even a medical clinic. There's also a movie theater, but they tell me it's on the small side. The parking lot is large, so you won't have to go crazy looking for on-street parking in the congested downtown area. This time of year, they also have an indoor skating rink, which is a nice touch in the hot weather. In all, I like this Mall & would definitely go back.

Ouro Design is one of the more reasonable shops if you're looking to buy while here. Their store is rather beautiful and looks almost opulent for a shop in a Mall. They sell mostly gold jewelry, but also have some nice silver pieces as well. In addition to jewelry, they also sell watches, but the only brand I was familiar with was Bulova and they cost about 5 times more here, so I wouldn't recommend them as a place to get a new timepiece. The staff are very friendly and professional. While you're shopping, they may offer you a licqueur to help you get over the prices.
