Everything is organized by style and texture, then sorted by color, making it easy to navigate while also being visually appealing. Their selection of coats and sweaters is phenomenal, and they take excellent care of their items. For instance, all the sweaters are neatly folded, which I appreciate since hanging them can stretch them out and leave the shoulders misshapen. The store itself is pretty big, and just down the street is the men's store. There are so many great pieces, including a fantastic selection of Max Mara camel coats, silk Hermès scarves (so many!) and vintage bags and accessories. The selection is so large and there's many unique, well-curated pieces, you'll be sure to find something. The staff is incredibly friendly and encourages you to try on anything that catches your eye in the fitting rooms.

V lit fam. I happened to walk by hear on my way to lunch during my Paris visit. The day before I…read morewent to the kilo shop and associated vintage shops in that area by Hotel de Ville and they were all swarming with tweeny European girls foaming at the mouth for moderately priced Parisian threads. It was a very overwhelming shopping experience for me and left disheartened on my finding any gems during my stay. So! I walk by this place and decide to stop in. Great clothes, especially military wear, seems to be a lot of European threads, and jeans for 25 euro. Most importantly the atmosphere was very relaxed and lowkey. One guy quietly oversaw the place and one or two other couples came in. I ended up getting a nice over coat and a (French?) pilot suit that I wore out to a Concrete party and received many compliments on. I'm hesitant with writing this review, especially in English, I hope the next time I come it's not a barren store with bottom of the barrel pickings due to teens attacking the stock. Despite this, I was happy my shopping experience was saved and hope a few more travelers wander upon the place to give it business and find similar shopping pleasure.

I don't want to say how much we spent, but let's just say we greatly surpassed the US incoming custom's exemption. I guess we'll just need to donate the excess prior to re-entering the homeland...

Dresses, shoes and coats inspired by 1950's vintage style with a modern edge, gorgeous construction and design. Nina helped choose some things that were wonderfully complementary to my body shape stating "it's not about size, but shape". As I'm a few sizes larger in France then the US, this was very helpful to hear. She was a great sales person, spoke beautiful English and was a lot of fun. I adore the jacket I bought and am actually looking forward to colder weather so I can wear it and let the complements roll in.

And by the staff I guess I mean the one girl I've seen there -- a sweet 20 something with short brown hair. Always smiley and ready to help you zip up a dress you need help with. The only downsides: On the expensive side, there's only one dressing room, and the hangers the clothes are kept on are heavy, loud, and a bit hard to manage.

So when I spot a new vintage store there is virtually nothing anyone can do to stop me from going inside and perusing the racks. Nothing. Come hell or high water I am going in, taking notes and plotting my purchases. Which is exactly what happened when this adorable new shop full of fabulous vintage from the 20s - 90s opened near the Canal Saint Martin. The problem at the time was that I was seriously pregnant and the thought of trying on anything with a waist was unfathomable. So I stared at the shoes but then remembered that my feel were swollen too, so I just complimented the women who owned the place for having such a great shop and promised to come back when I had my figure back. Only problem is that day hasn't really come yet, so everytime I pass in front of the shop I stare longingly at the items in the window, like the insanely beautiful pink Sonia Rykiel sweater dress with the still-too-small waist that I spotted just recently. I still have some work to do before I can make any serious purchases here, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't stop by and take advantage of the excellent selection and affordable prices.

According to some workers I spoke with, they gather stuff in on Monday, sort and price on Tuesday, and start selling on Wednesday, which is the best day to go there. The goods are higher quality than the local Emmaus stores and the store itself is attractive. This is definitely worth the schlep!
