I made the right choice of venue. What an absolutely gorgeous outdoor cafe with charming, efficient and totally on the ball staff and the fastest service I've had since arriving in Italy. I even had a few language lessons with the waitstaff who humoured me as I practiced my very beginner Italian on them. The first thing that caught my eye and consequently ordered was piadina alla porchetta. A spectacular choice. The piadina itself was light, slightly toasty, with a nice hint of olive oil but the main attraction was the pig. Delicious, sumptuous, well seasoned porchetta made this dish a massive hit for me. And for just €5 I was suitably impressed. I happily spent a solitary hour here soaking up the atmosphere, sipping on coffee and reflecting on my delicious meal. Thumbs up from me. Next time I'll be trying their gelato desserts too. They looked delicious!

Every morning we head down to the beech, but before we reach our umbrella we stop of here for breakfast. They serve croissants, coffee and other drinks in the morning which is very nice (the Nutella croissants are the best!) after that we laze around the beech for a few hours! Then at 11 o'clock when we have lost the satisfaction of our breakfast we head up their for pizza. The pizza is literally rolling out of the kitchen, so you can count on it being fresh. An admirable quality to this pizza is that it is €1.60 for a slice (5in x 7in) which is enough to keep you going. They also do a white version (no tomato and cheese, instead rosemary and salt). This cafe is a very prominent part in our holiday and we have been going there for the last 15 years and absolutely love it! I would recommend this place to anyone in search of a gorgeous breakfast and lunch! 5 stars!!
