We were shopping nearby when we came across this cute little ice cream shop- definitely family-owned. I suggested we stop by because, honestly, these small local spots often have the best ice cream. I absolutely adored the girl who helped us. She was so patient and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted. She was kind, helpful, and really knew her stuff. Left an impression on us : ) The prices are super reasonable, too. A small is around $3.50, and a large is just over $5.. not bad at all for two to four scoops! i have been here 3 times in three weeks to order a bionicos, each time i was told they do not have crema. if the business does not care about the customer enough to have the supplies for what they have on the menu. maybe they should close till they get the supplies they need. i ask to speak to a manager or someone in charge and was told there is nobody seems like the worker behind the counter was not worried about it. this is very sad read more

Yummmyyy I had the sunrise something smoothie with orange, carrot and pineapple. I also ordered a bionico. I liked it all. I hope they don't add sugar to their smoothies. It was sweet and yummy but I wondered if they added sugar. Does anyone know if they do? My friend got the melon smoothie and he said, "Oh, I'm getting another one." When my boyfriend asked the man (who only speaks Spanish) if we can do half pina colada and half dragon fruit, he had a major attitude about that as well. You're pretty much forced to wait right outside otherwise you will miss your number. I can't believe I ya ain't reviewed this place since I practically live here every summer. They have tons of paletas, smoothies, ice creams and other refreshing treats to stay cool during the summer and throughout the year. I love trying different things off their menu. I love the watermelon smoothie and the coconut covered paleta is one of my favorites. However parking can be a bit tight since the parking spots are pretty small. Overall is a must to check them out. The staff is super friendly however during the summer months you can expect a long line. read more

Cascacho is like chile and salt fruit sold by food carts all over downtown LA. It's big, salty, spicy, and full of fresh fruit for under $7. It's great for a hot day! My coworker got the cappuccino, and said it was tasty, as well. It was what our students, who are locals, recommended. I will definitely be back to try their homemade fruit bars! It's a small but clean place and you can see them making your fruit and smoothie right in front of you. They take credit (No Amex) and cash. It was fast and efficient and the best part is they cover your fruit with a bag in case it spills and they cover the top of your smoothie with a bag to protect it while traveling. This is one of my favorite places to grab a smoothie. Every time I am in the area I try and make a stop here. I have never had an issue with parking as it is located in a shopping center. The inside of the establishment is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. This last time I was in I noticed they had new items since the last time I was there and I had many questions that the young man helping me was willing to answer in a polite manner. I got my favorite smoothie, the piña colada, and a small esquite. You can never go wrong with the piña colada smoothie! It was my first time buying esquite here and I was not disappointed. I also noticed that they had an option to get the esquite with hot cheetos or tostitos (maybe I'll try that next time). While they have a menu of their signature smoothie items, you can also asked to build your own. You can get up to three fruits for $6 and each additional fruit selection is $1. I enjoy the fact that they add pieces of fruit inside the top of the smoothie as well as in the straw. Wish I was in the area more often to grab a smoothie to go! read more

The store is located right next to the market on the left in a big plaza, and after parking, I was greeted with a line that lead out the door. However, the line moved pretty quickly, and I ordered the Cascada Passion which included various fruits and berries. I received my drink pretty quickly, and was impressed with the presentation and the taste. The drink was delicious, and I love how they incorporate fruits on tope of the drink and on the straw!
