After decades of being a highly satisfied patient, I have decided to transfer my care and business elsewhere. A technician broke my frames (accidentally) and Cascade Eye Center, unable to replace the frames themselves, has refused to cover the costs of replacement. ($240) Very frustrating and disappointing customer service, especially after years of loyalty in buying my lenses ($800+) from them on a regular basis. read more

HIPPA violations at the front desk. Dialate your eyes, then take you out of the room to the bright hallway to wait. Terrible service.

I called to schedule appointments for my husband (1st time scheduling for him) & me. I talked to Tory, the receptionist, who was very unprofessional, rude, and had poor customer service skills & treated me as if I was inadequate. I asked to be transferred to the Office Manager, Heather, and she claimed she was sitting next to Tory and apparently heard the conversation (so my HIPAA was violated if the OM heard our conversation, then patients in the waiting room also heard. I've been a loyal customer to Cascade Eye Center for over 10 years, so unfortunately, I'll be seeking another optometrist. read more

The front counter ladies were all so rude besides Julie! She was the only who helped me when I asked for help and she was the third person I asked. I had asked heather for help and she ignored me, and some other lady I forgot her name. Would not recommend! They did not care at all! read more

Full disclosure, these dudes have being looking at my eyes for a couple decades, both before leaving town and after moving back! Used to see Dr. Nobel and now Dr. Dieker is my man! They do a quality job of monitoring how those eyes are doing and making good recommendations on what you can do. I've never felt pressured to buy glasses or contacts from them, though they are available. During my last visit we made the decision to try a new type of contacts and they gave me 5 days of trial pairs. It was nice to try before I bought. Keep up the good work peeps! read more

As usual, they are never on time. Always late, at least 10-20 minutes late every time I go in - and 35 minutes today (I was 5 minutes early). I've been the first appointment of they day and that's been 15 minutes late. We should be allowed to bill them for not being on time as they sure would bill a patient. If your time is not important to you, they are good at what they do and very friendly. They just need to work on punctuality and respect that their patients time is just as valuable as theirs. read more

I went for an eye exam today and was pleasantly surprised at how fast I was taken to the back. Exam was done quickly and efficiently, the doctor was very nice and explained everything. After that, I was taken to the optician to pick out my new pair of glasses and there was no pressure whatsoever to spend high dollar which I really appreciate! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because some of the glasses and "extras" are pretty spendy and the receptionist that I got was not friendly. Not to say she wasn't professional, just made me feel like I was another sheep to be herded and moved on down the chute. read more

Gossip, Gossip! This place is worthy of their own reality television show. I am appalled by how frequently and loudly the receptionist gossip, It's like they Ignore people in the waiting room. This just in, we can hear you! This was my first ever visit to an eye center, and I was very nervous. It didn't help becoming agitated by the amount of chatter coming from the front desk. Long story short, to my dismay I had to return to do a series of test for Glaucoma. Already very nervous, I come in to a woman who continuously has to give me the same series of test over and over again and if it wasn't for the grace of her decent superior I free I would be blind. There's 100's of places to go in Yakima for eye exams, just don't go here. read more

I've been going to Cascade Eye Center for over 25 years. Best wishes to Dr. Noble in retirement. The optical center is low pressure and always has happily made adjustments whenever any member of our family has needed them. If their billing/invoices made a little more sense and their office staff was as friendly/welcoming as the optical team, I'd have given five stars. read more

I have always been impressed with how they run their clinic. Recently I had an issue with one of my eyes being swollen shut and instead of scheduling me for the following day, they were able to get me in right before they closed! They are the only ones that I would trust with my eye care! read more

I love this place and I highly recommend. I've been taking my kids here since they opened and they too love it. I've never had a long wait. We are in and out. They are really nice and very helpful. My son broke his glasses while he was at school and they saw us right away to help us and reorder a replacement pair which came in very quickly. I've never had a problem here. It is the best vision place I have been to and I've been to many. read more
