The tables are under a large evergreen with a breathtaking view of the countryside. We have yet to find a restaurant with a better location. The food is highly recommended and is moderately priced - not cheap but not expensive - with a selection of local foods and your usual Italian favorites. The service has been quite good, even on busy nights, but in the high season, a reservation is recommended.

It is located in the heart of Castle Giglio, a lovely ancient town atop the island. I had the Pesci alla Grillia and my fiancée the Sea Bass with Pattata. Both were well done and delicious. We shared a Pollpo salad The staff was lovely. The ambiance clean, well lit, and inviting. We really appreciated the way the staff catered to our needs and the unrushed pace.
