It was an American Pale Ale. I've had Schlafly APA. My favorite is 4 Hands' City Wide. Loop's APA tasted extremely bland. No hop flavor to it. And a touch of sweetness. Very strange. Even stranger, it was room temperature. For food, I had the steak wrap with a side salad. The ranch dressing was tasty. The steak was dry and bland. Definitely need something to help it out. All in all, I was not impressed. I want to go back and try the pizza. I may have just ordered the wrong thing.

The fries and onion rings were hand cut but needed to be salted if you're looking for a perfect fry / ring experience. The chicken strips were cooked well and served with homemade ranch. If you're a ranch enthusiast this is one of the best. Bathrooms were clean, tables and drink areas picked up and not sticky - it's a true Americana drive in experience. Lastly all of the staff was nice and quick considering the menu is full of hand made meals.

I can't recall her name but being short staffed this particular evening, she had to take care of the entire dining room! She was still super and the food was great!
