I went there for dinner last night with a friend and both of our meals were not good. Service and atmosphere were great but the place was dead. My friend ordered some kind of seafood chowder and she couldn't even eat it and her crab cake sandwich wasn't very good either. I ordered the grilled chicken in an herb sauce and it wasn't very tasty and the mashed potatoes came out of a box. Plus our rolls were stale. The only things like we liked were the homemade chips, steak fries and my Caesar salad. I hope the food gets better or I will just keep going to Barnaby's. read more

I think I've come here enough to write this review. Granted I only come after work for happy hour Casey's has more to offer. The upstairs deck is great to hangout on. The second floor bar means you don't have to go all the way downstairs for a drink or have a long wait. The drinks are good some bartenders are more heavy handed than others. The food is great for the happy hour price. I've had the burgers, wings, nachos, chicken fingers, soup. All have been good. My next test for Casey's will be to come by on football Sunday. read more

I come here for lunch about once a month and it's great, very spacious, lots of tables and good service. Some recommendations are the coconut Shrimp and cheesesteak eggs. Solid spot!! Everyone is always friendly and accommodating. Really good burgers. Also try the nachos they are fantastic to share with the table as an appetizer. I really enjoy this place. I used there third floor for a graduation party also for a baby shower which was great!!! They were very accommodating for us. We stop in here time after time. This place is a 4 star for apps and drinks while watching the game. Nachos, wings, and beer selection is always good! The bartender (downstairs) is always happy and will change the channel to watch a different game. Sadly, I give it a 2 star rating for lunch/dinner. I have been here several times for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant is very clean and each time the staff has been very friendly and accommodating. The food has been terrific and never a disappointment. The third floor is very nice for a party or large get together. Visited Casey's on Saturday evening at 6PM. Place was empty except for people at the bar. Ordered the Shrimp Faitas for $16.00. Arrived with 3 Tortillas, half a pound of cheese , roasted veggies, lettuce, tomatos, salsa , sour cream and 6 SMALL SHRIMP. When I mentioned the lack of shrimp to the waitress, she said that she does not "make the rules". Also the carpet under our tables was littered. Waitress said there had been a crowd that afternoon. I really like this place.. We go about once a month.. the roast beef is great.. the home made chips are really good. Usually there is meat on the nachos, although last time, they put chili on it.. didn't like that. The waitresses are usually very friendly, It is very comfortable there. I like that you can sit outside. Don't like going up 3 flights of steps to get to the top floor, but it's nice, clean and the food is good. I'm definitely a fan! I tried to support a small business during this difficult time and boy did i learn my lesson. Horrible for the price, definitely don't use on uber eats because they didn't tell me anything about size or quantity of what i was buying. I paid $11 for 3 cheesesteak eggrolls shorter than my finger. Then i selected a coke, they gave me no size option, and charged me 2.59 for it, ive seen sippy cups bigger than this thing, even soda cans bigger than it. Food is just ok. Chips are great but unfortunately they were the highlight. The place is nice and comfy but I hoped for more. Service is hit or miss. We have had servers who went out of our way and other times we were there the new bartender arrived, changed the music and got on her cellphone. Every time we ordered a drink it was like we were bothering her. My wife and I tried out Casey's in Ridley Park tonight. On the positive side, the waitress was very good. Things were a bit slow, but we learned later that she was the only server for both downstairs and upstairs. My chicken sandwich was fairly good, as were the homemade chips. My wife's fajita was good, she said, but not super. The bad. Ok it's a bar. We were upstairs and in addition to the bar is a nice dining area where we were. All of a sudden the radio came blaring out of the speaker that was near us. The TV's sound was also on right where the speaker was. I asked the server if they could turn the radio down, which they did. A little time later the sound came up, and this is what they did. They changed the stereo spread so that the vocals were over in the bar, and the drums and base were on our side. It was really bad. My guess is that the guys at the bar wanted to hear their music loud. As a musician, this was doubly terrible. My suggestion is that they keep the music down until after dinner hours. Also, either play the radio or the TV sound, not both. Not considerate at all. We left as soon as we could get the bill, and do not plan to return. read more

One of the most underrated pubs in all of Delaware County. Space is incredible. From the dugout, to the upstairs bar, to the 3rd floor party space. The food is excellent here. I've never had a bad meal. Good selection of beers including some local crafts such as Yards and Victory. Just an overall good experience. read more

Been here twice in two days. Had a plain ol burger first night with my choice of toppings and a few beers (two thumbs up). Ordered a drink we looked up online and the bartender was awesome about it! Went here for a quick bite and a beer. I sat at the bar and had to wait 15 minutes for the bartender, he was somewhere else in the building and there were about 8-10 customers at the bar. I ordered the french onion soup and a buffalo chicken sandwich, you'd think common sense would tell them I wanted the soup first. My sandwich came out first and the bartender served it to me kind of laughed and said the rest of you food will be out shortly... My soup didn't come out for another 20 minutes! How hard is it to get soup out before a sandwich? The service at this place was horrible, the bartender could not do more than on thing at a time. I tried to get a second beer for about 15 minutes and its not like place was crowded by any means. Bottom line is that there are better options in the area with far superior service and have more friendly and welcoming staffs. read more

I went with a group for a celebration lunch. They suggested we preorder. Bad idea. I have been there before and the food was okay. This time it was downright awful. I have no intention of recommending this place to coworkers, friends or enemies. I did not know a Kobe burger could taste so bad. Greasy and the beef tasted rotten. A great local tavern/restaurant in Drexel Hill. A Drexel Hill institution, and for good reason. Atmosphere: A neighborhood bar and grill. You will always be greeted by a friendly server whether in the restaurant area, or the bar area. Food: Very good. Burgers are good, wings are good, apps are good. Good beer selection on draft. Service: Always get a friendly waitress. Prices: Very reasonable. There is also a kids menu, so if you have kids they will be welcome here. My kids love it. They even do the usual and bring the kids crayons. Overall a great place. Certainly a go-to place for any Drexel Hillian (?) and for good reason. Good food at a fair price with good customer service. What more could you want? One last thing. Many TVs in the bar area. Good place to watch a game. read more

It was our first time visit based on their website's advertisement of Monday night special- Burger Night ( ANY burger $7.50). I don't want to sound picky, but.... I had the Reuben. The taste of the individual parts were good, but the sandwich was piled together so that I never got a taste of all the ingredients in any one bite. I tried eating it with a knife and fork....... same deal. The steak fries were either overcooked or reheated, I'm going with reheated because they were a little greasy. The saving grace was that the beer was very cold! If you're going, don't have the Reuben. Have a beer and an app of some sort. read more

Went for crab night and they were awful. First order was black and soggy. Server was rude like it was our fault. Just terrible food and even worse service. The manager took crabs off the bill, but still charged for chicken parmigiana that my son did eat. We went there for crabs and I think they brought us the left overs from last week. We returned them and to their credit they did take them off the bill. The service overall was poor and unfriendly. We were not greeted by our server but rather were just asked if we were ready to order. Worst service ive ever expierenced!! Stay away from this place and go anywhere else to eat. We pretty much had to do a dance to just get our water filled when the place was completely dead. Secondly the waitress jennifer had an awful attitude and even worse service if I was her manager/owner id fire her in a heartbeat but the manager was too busy sleeping by the front door. We told them we didnt want our food and jennifer gave us the most smart ass response. They did not care at all at how shitty the service was or apologize they just charged us for our waters and sodas that took 25 min to get. On top of all this a group of 3 sat right next to us 20 min after us and got thier food well before us and were done before our food came out. Had our daughter's Communion party at Casey's. I've never written a review before but the service and staff were SO excellent that I had to leave a good review! We had our party upstairs on the 3rd floor. The room fit our party of about 50 perfect and having the deck on a nice day was awesome! The staff was very accommodating and helpful and service was great. The woman, Tara who we booked the party with was extremely helpful and nice. We were very happy with our choice to have our party at Casey's. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for anyone looking for a place to have a party. read more

This service is awful. Multiple times I have waited time and time again for my meal. I was in with 4 colleagues today and we waited over an hour for our meal. We had groups of people sitting around us getting served over us. The women next to us even commented, "You haven't gotten your meal we were here 20 minutes after you." Jennifer is probably the worst server I have ever encountered. Not only was she not timely she was rude. Then they still tried to make us pay for the meal and we did pay for our drinks. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST DO NOT GO. Also the old guy at the front there just sleeps all day and was rude to us as well saying we had to pay our bill even though service was terrible, untimely, and flat out rude. read more
