I got a couple of these payday $250. pay back $300. 1st of the next month loans; until the last month I got in over my head taking out 6 payday loans with other companies. I had an outstanding balance with Cash Central for 3 months, I believe; when i got a text message that was too good to be true, so i called them out on it. It was very true! They called it a tax return discount, saving me $105. I could pay off my balance in full for only $195. Yes! I said, it was paid for and done. Great deal for both parties. I'm still behind on 3 of my loans. DON'T take loans out to pay other loans! Not good either. But, hell, I'll recommend them. They helped me out when i needed it 2x. read more

Don't pay these ppl it's a scam my experience is a lot like other ppl reviews. They had information that was not accurate. The info they did have looked similar to my bank info but it wasn't accurate. They call everyday and send emails saying I owe them and I got a text that it was going to a collection agency that also wasn't accurate. Cash Central formerly known as Check into Cash... I was with check into cash for over 10 years never had a problem and I would pay off my loan and able to borrow same day. Now with cash central taking over it takes days to take out a loan, the upload doesn't work in the app so have to email my paystub in and hear them say its worked in the order it was received which can take days and bills are due and they have a long turn around. I have to find another loan place after all these years cause the process is very slow and annoying. Don't use this platform if you want a quick and easy loan!!! read more

SCAMMER ALERT! This company is either scammers or people claiming to be are - BEWARE. People called my wife and I one morning saying we had taken out a loan from them for $2,500 , but we hadn't. They then tried just about everything possible during the conversation to get more financial information from us. We asked where the money had gone, and they wanted our bank account information. BE VERY CAREFUL! I submitted an application and then received an email link to link my bank account with them. Then I called customer service to verify the application status and they said the bank account number transmitted during the bank linking process didn't match what was on the loan application and that they wanted me to send them a bank statement. Clearly, they matched as I was able to verify to her that I had entered the right account number on the application by looking at a copy of my application. After wasting my breath yelling at this stubborn customer service rep, I asked for her supervisor and they told me the exact last four digits of the bank account number that was transmitted to them during the link process. It was completely different. Then she went on to say some BS excuse like how it may have been from my saving account or how it was transmitted incorrectly. I don't even have a savings account. SCAM ALERT! Contacted by a David Howard from Oracle Financial Group claiming that his company was seeking to collect on a payday loan from Cash Central. I questioned him about this purported debt (I've never taken out a payday loan in my life) and I also advised him that I was an attorney. He asked for my bar number (which can be checked online to determine if I'm really an attorney); then he asked me to hold on for a minute. Then he hung up the phone. F***ing parasites. I'm going to file a criminal complaint with the police to see if I can get a criminal investigation commenced against Oracle Financial Group and Cash Central. read more

I had a $350 loan taken out in my name a few weeks ago. Apparently the charge for it will be taken out of my checking account. But, the actual cash loan went on to someones GreenDot card. (whatever that is). When I called about this, after I received an email, saying my loan was deposited, they call got all huffy with me. I was sent to the fraud department and when I got upset, the woman, with her ghetto accent, threatened to hang up on me until I could respect her. I now have to file a police report and if nothing comes of it, I am responsible for the loan. avoid cash central and all payday loans like your life depends on it!!! over 3 months time cash central has profited $480 from me. i was unable to make my last payment ontime, because i was ill and took a week off work. i called cash central and spoke with a supervisor, caitlin mcdonald to make payment arrangements. caitlin is no help at all. she wanted to fax me paperwork. it's not 1990. who useses a fax in 2015?!?! i don't have time to go to drive to a fedex and fax stuff. then she summarizes and explains how terrible my contract/agreement with them is. she says their fees will pile up to infinitum if i don't fax stuff. i spent 15 minutes getting waiting to speak to her and have her bully me. cash central has just lost a great customer. i'll never use their services again!! a secured credit card is a much better option. read more

I contacted them because I was getting emails saying I was approved. I had not taken out or applied for anything. I called them and told them someone is using my information and they said they would put a fraud alert on the account and make sure the funding was stopped. 4 days later I wake up to another email saying they tried to put the money through but they must have the wrong account number. Thank god who ever has my information has an old account number and it is closed. I now have to jump through a bunch of hoops to clear up my name and my credit score. Cash Central basically gave a loan out with very little background check or verification for giving a loan out. If you take a loan from them and try to pay off early they will not allow you to use your credit card. And if you fight hard enough they run your card as a cash advance. If you use them be very careful and expect to pay 3 times what you borrowed and in the first 4 months of your loan your principal will only drop 6 dollars. read more

If they would have pulled a credit report, they would have seen that I have no need of a high interest loan and live in NEW MEXICO. They either didn't check or this is a scam. Ok so I don't have the greatest credit, I still have good enough credit to get a car loan. I try not to make a habbit of borrowing too much money in times of need. I haven't needed a pay day loan for several years, but I just happen to find myself in need to take care of a couple bills I have. I went online to find a payday loan that I could borrow a quick $300. Most sites say they can put between $500 - $1000 in your account the same day. So I click on Cash Central to apply for a loan where they say you can get up to $800. Knowing I didn't need that much and never getting turned down for these types of loans in the past I think no brainer. They charge a lot of interest anyway. It's basically the convienence so this is why for my situation, I was willing to pay it. Well I do put blame where blame should be. I didn't read the extra fine print. Apparently they run your credit. Had I known this I wouldn't have applied. After giving them my information which they probably sell anyway, I had to click on the next listing down to find a loan. Of course they don't run your credit like Cash Central does. While my credit isn't the best I am savvy enough to know that getting your credit pulled weakens your chances to get a loan elsewhere when you want it. This business practice is shady at best afterall they are charging high interest rates which offset their losses. If your looking for an honest transaction find a different payday loan provider. read more

I have used money tree and i think that's how they contacted me and offered the payday loan at a discount...I decided to give them a try since they're online i thought it convenient, BIG mistake.. They did not charge on time and did not contacted me immediately the same day of the loan was due.. but they sent it to collections thank you ... they gave me 3 different reasons why it was not charged on time and and charged me a fee over the discount!! Note: zero stars is the rating. They are a underhanded corporation. Payday loans are horribly, that is a fact. This company however, takes the cake. As you log in and fill out the pay day loan information and you agree to the amount you want it then takes you to a "refinance page". This page has a few sentences, a drop bar with 4, 3, 2, and 1. There is no zero option. Further, there is no "skip to complete loan". So you're forced to select 1 and then the terms of agreement page. The amount you show owing on the final page stays the amount you originally wanted (amount you request and the agreed upon fee). Then they charge you the fee twice over and tell you that you agreed to the refinancing of your loan. Be aware, nothing on the refinance page or there after shows a single thing about paying the original fee and a "refinance" fee. It simply says the loan amount and fee on all the final pages. All emails sent show one fee and the loan amount; there is no documentation of the fee. In the terms and agreements (somewhere between A and Z) there is a quote "listing of the refinance charges" but no sign in any email of two finance fees. I argues for 26 minutes with this company. End result, they're an underhanded company who bullies customers already financial struggling. I hope Bernie Sanders begins investigating loan companies such as yours very soon. read more

On May 2nd 2016 $400 was placed into my account with no company name just 7 numbers and federal next to it Luckily I questioned it and did not spend it. However we could not find where the funds came form. On May 12th , 2016 112.98 was taken from my account by Cash Central. I called them and they produced an old e-mail account that was closed three years ago . I was able to get into the accoutn and have them search through more than 5,000 emails.... nothing. On April 10, 2015, I received a cold call a person from Cash Central. Stating that, I had fraudulent activity on my application. I said I didn't file an application because I don't need any loans. They will send me information showing the fraudulent activity. I did give them my P O Box address, no phone number, SSN, or date of birth. I did go to my bank to confirm if they knew anything about Cash Central. Nothing showed at the bank. I received a mail from them POSTMARKED May 18 2015, 38 DAYS AFTER phone call. In it was a fraudulent activity letter dated April 10 2015, an installment loan agreement dated April 13, 2015, and a loan start date of May 5, 2015, an authorized represensive execution dated April 10, 2015. I did not authorize, request, or wanted a loan or I did not sign any contract. But an installment loan agreement dated April 13, 2015, was produced. Even when on April 10, 2015, Cash Central went through with the application, which I have never seen or initiated. The loan account was opened. The account should have been placed on a hold status, or have been marked "restricted" until all details have been confirmed. On March 3, 2016, I checked my Experian FICO Credit Report and found Cash Central, open an account on April 20, 2015, 10 DAYS AFTER phone call and 28 DAYS BEFORE receiving any information about the account without me knowing about it. Also with knowing there was fraudulent activity in question. The FACT is that the loan account open, I did not receive any loan money, account statements, any late notices, any certified mail, any phone calls, or had anyone knocking on my door. When the did have my correct mailing address since April 10, 2015. Removing this fraud from my Experian credit score is not easy. read more

Scam alert; we got a call from a collection agency last week indicating that my wife owes $314 for a debt incurred by her through cashcentral. Interestingly enough we have never done business with cashcentral and more importantly I understand they don't even do business in California nor do they have any storefronts here. Assuming they do business via Internet in California rest assured My wife rarely even opens up the computer or wants to do anything with it so we know for a fact that we have never done business with this company. A call to cashcentral indicated very little information that they could provide. They told us to call their corporate headquarters because the records had been moved up there. Several calls to that firm and messages left have resulted in no response back to us. I'm not too concerned at this point as my attorneys have sent a letter telling the collection agency to cease and desist. Beware scams like this, I believe they are simply playing a numbers game. If you threaten enough people, a certain number of them will reply and pay. We're clearly not one of them! read more
