Firstly, I was given a time slot which was fully adhered to, aided by telephone messages giving me the latest update on the ETA. When the freezer arrived , it had to be carried up a difficult flight of steps, manoeuvred around tight corners of my lodge, unwrapped and slid into a tight position. Prior to the positioning of the machine, it had to be plugged and plumbed in and a filter attached. All this was done with courtesy and in good humour. Thank you! The staff here really are fantastic - professional, attentive and really really knowledgeable. I thought John Lewis was pretty good at this sort of thing, but Purewell are brilliant. As you may already have gathered though, what they're not so good at is competitive pricing. Sure, their prices stack up pretty well against other retailers in the immediate area, but I'm afraid I'm not prepared to pay considerably over the odds even if it does mean I leave this place feeling ever so slightly guilty every time I go there. That's not to say I haven't ever bought anything here, but money doesn't grow on trees and for major purchases I know I can do better elsewhere.

Can't thank Tracey at the Dorchester store enough, my other half knows what he likes shall we say,…read moreso it has taken us months to find rings we both agree on, our other problem was inherited rings that we didn't want to part with but also sat in the drawer useless, Tracey came up with a great design using the gold from the old rings, we now have unique, bespoke rings which are fabulous, the leftover gold she had made into matching neckless and earrings which I wear everyday and remember where they came from, great solution all round and worked out cheaper than some rings we had looked at! The clour schemes are tasteful and I think the prices are fair. If I was revamping a room, this would be one of my first stops. The staff are helpful with out being invasive. Thing is this is in a complex with other competing stores. But I do think this has a better quality.

This is a huge, huge store…read more I often feel like giving up as soon as I go in. Although it's laid out in categories, I find that that my logic doesn't necessarily follow theirs, and I have wandered around almost aimlessly. It can also be hard to find a member of staff to help you. This aside, they do have a vast selection of goods and their sales are good. Everything from washing machines to radios, irons to vacuum cleaners. If you know what it is you want, go here. If you're not certain, try to do some research first. The staff do try to get you to buy a higher spec than you need. I hardly go in here now.

Currys at Wessex Retail Park is one of their larger stores and hold many different appliances. I…read morerecently purchased a new lap top from the store and they were absolutely brilliant. I knew what I needed and with a little bit of persuasion they even gave me a few extras. The staff were really helpful and listened to what I was saying. Prices seem to be very competitive especially for anything I have bought or looked at in there and with its large car park it makes the whole experience of shopping there so much easier.
