We were told that when we come back at 2pm, we would get 10 Euros back in casino credit. Sadly that was not the case. We also opened a players card (loyalty card) in the next door's small casino and found out as a member, there was NO fee to enter.... Either way, happy for the overall visit. Won gambling! The atrium area of the casino is free to enter and has a bunch of b&w images of Grace Kelly and Prince R, along with some casino game tables. It's 20 euro to enter the casino itself and for some countries they require a passport--see image. To use the toilet it's 2 euro!!!!! It's a one and done to say ya been. Nothing special. read more

This is definitely a tourist must see - the exotic cars parked in front of the casino, the exquisite architecture inside and outside the building, the historical, grand hotel next door, and the boutique (very expensive) shops all around the casino. The slots area shut down from 12-2pm so we went for lunch next door. We lost a combined $500 in about 10 minutes and didn't see anyone win anything. It's walking distance to the train station and the view of the very luxurious yachts was something to see. read more

On a trip to Nice, we went to Monaco for the evening for dinner and then went to the Monte-Carlo Casino. The building is absolutely stunning, inside and out. Outside, there were lots of beautiful people and plenty of fancy cars parked around. You have to pay to go inside, but we wanted to grab a drink and soak it all in. The whole place has that classic James Bond glamour. If you're feeling lucky, make sure to bet on black! read more

It's a stunningly beautiful casino with architecture well worth the visit. The jewelry shops are over the top. The dining room serves food 24 hours a day, but you must be dressed accordingly. This is probably the most beautiful casino we have ever visited. read more

This place was unreal. After seeing it in the movies, it was high on my list of places to go. The entrance is grand, and there's security staff who pat down bags and ensure it is a safe space. When I first walked in, I felt like I was transported into the movies. The gold columns, high ceilings, and artwork all around was so overwhelming, but in a good way. There were fancy and colorful cars on display on both sides (see picture), and people were surrounding them, taking lots of pictures, selfies, and videos. To enter the casino, you had to pay an entrance fee. To use the bathrooms downstairs, you also had to pay a small fee. Definitely a place of luxury. I did not go into the casino itself, but enjoyed looking at the public places inside! There was a gift shop to the left after entering, and it was small yet had a good selection! I ended up getting some poker chips as souvenirs, and they were pretty affordable considering they were coming from a place like this. Overall, definitely a place to see! And if you have some extra money to spare and are into casinos and gambling, this seems like the perfect and luxurious place! read more

Stopped by while in Monaco since this casino is famous for being a high end gambling hotspot among the rich and famous, and was curious to see what it looked like. From the outside the facade is beautifully designed in the Beaux-Arts architectural style and looks just like it does in the movies, most notably scenes from a few of the James Bond series. The movies reflect real life in the sense that expensive cars and people really do flock here. In my whole life I have never seen more luxury cars parked in one place as outside this casino--multiple Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Land Rovers, Bugattis, Aston Martins, Maseratis, lol probably plenty of cars I haven't heard of before too--it almost felt like I was at a car show. Seems like most normal tourist folk were likewise taking in this spectacle, I saw plenty of jaws dropped, photos being snapped and looks of awe upon faces. The casino itself is gorgeous but €18 just to enter the actual gaming rooms past the lobby is rather steep, which I guess they do to make it more exclusive. The two other casinos I walked into that day checked IDs but didn't have an entry fee. The most they allow you is to do for free is walk inside the lobby, which has very classy looking columns and ornate ceiling/upper story wall with murals and elaborate cornices. The opera house is also contained within this building and has its front facade at the back of the casino building. Would've been interested to check out an event there as the inside looks breathtaking from photos. The opera lounge is visible to the right of the casino lobby and looked nice though it was not in use. Interestingly enough Monaco citizens are not allowed to gamble or work at casinos in Monaco as they don't want their citizens to become addicted to gambling. Meanwhile anyone else from outside Monaco is welcome to contribute to their pot. Seems like the money they make from casinos is the main reason they can support no personal income tax, (including no tax on gambling winnings), and is why the rich worldwide use Monaco as a tax haven. read more

Stunning and luxurious decor!!!! I loved how they stamp your passport with the Monaco Monte Carlo stamp. It is an admission fee to get into the actual casino. Fun facts- Monaco is a super tiny country (#2 smallest in the world) and the richest country (wealth per capita). Over 40% of its residents are millionaires. read more

Casino de Monte-Carlo is absolutely stunning, especially during the holiday season. Be ready for crowds and everyone just walking on the streets, but so worth it to see and take photos. The casino itself is beyond grand, royal, classic, and the old school feel. The location is stunning with other shops, malls, and restaurants. They have a wide variety of games as well. read more
