They had a decent selection of sandwiches - maybe 10 to choose from, and I opted for the chicken club sandwich which just had chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and mayo. It was not the best sandwich I've ever had, but it was one of the few savory options that seemed mildly healthy. They also had some small pizzas and phyllo dough with chicken and cheese inside, or cheese and vegetables. The sandwich itself was fine - the chicken was a little odd and seemed very processed, but it was edible. They had a pretty wide selection of pastries: almond croissants, millefeuille, Paris-Brest, tarte aux pommes, pain aux raisins, tartes, and chocolate pastries. Pretty much most of what you can think of for French pastries. The prices are fairly reasonable for a bakery, and definitely cheaper than going to Paul or any other place right in the train station. They have a decent amount of seating, and they have a microwave in the back if you want to warm anything up. If I were taking the train again, I'd come here to get something to eat, but more out of convenience than anything else.

It was overwhelming. I spotted the fridge section that has beurre. But I wanted to check out other food items and snacks they had. But with all the people in there, I gave up and went back to the butter section. They have several brands but not the brands I was looking for. They didn't have a variety of flavors either. It was either salted or unsalted butter. So, I left empty handed.

It was fun to watch how socca is made and, as someone who has never tried it, I really liked it (not something I would crave immediately again but it's a good option for gluten free street food). We got a chance to see how they make their socca, which is apparently just the same flour used for couscous, mixed with water, then placed an big, round, metal baking dish lined with olive oil, and then oven roasted for 3-5 minutes. Once done, it's just lightly seasoned with pepper - our guide said no other spice, otherwise it's not authentic in terms of local custom. I wasn't the biggest fan of the socca, though it wasn't bad, and their pizzas on offer all looked amazing - there's a reason they had the long line that they had. Next time in old town Nice, I'd give them a try!

They literally have a 3 casinos on this street alone. This one was a bigger store like a Walmart…read moresupercenter. Lots of aisles and lots of grocery items. Lots of good prices on everything from fruit and pastries to meats and frozen goods. If you want to have a quick alternative to fast food breakfasts or local bakeries, they got a lot of relatively cheap stuff to explore. As I said in other reviews, this is France's national grocery chain so it's a credible place to shop. I took a bunch of photos to show as well so I hope you like them!!

I didn't try the cookies or the pastries but they looked delicious specially the pies ( called tartes ) here What brought the rating down : the place deserves a better clean up between guests , and there are some flies ( I hate this anywhere) ; the restrooms didn't have soap; when asked , the young lady fumbled with some liquid soap containers and admitted that they had the wrong ones so no soap for the day !! I would suggest to get in , buy your pan bagnat walk to the Promenade des Anglais and enjoy it sitting on one of the chairs facing the sea.

The prices are reasonable - a baguette is €1.50 and most of the more simple pastries are €1-€2. I do not recommend their strawberry tarts; the base is difficult to eat and not worth it. The croissants, on the other hand, are delicious. I picked up something from them every day I spent in Nice. Definitely a hidden gem!
