Our wedding was on November 10th, according to her contract we should have had our final video no later than January 10th. It is now almost the end of May... The teaser trailer that she finally provided partway through January was beautiful and well put together so the quality of work itself is not an issue. I don't understand how someone could miss their deadline by almost FIVE MONTHS and not even have the courtesy to just message me and let me know what's going. As you can see almost everytime we talked it was because I messaged her. She is now offering to refund me- which I appreciate. However, definitely wouldnt recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer or videographer as far as professionalism.

I was lucky enough to find Abby on yelp and after checking out her website I knew she could take incredible outdoor photos, which was perfect for our shoot at Garden of the Gods. She answered my emails right away and I could tell she was enthusiastic about being our photographer. She made the entire process simple and enjoyable. She was quick to respond, offered extremely fair pricing, and was open to ideas and requests. We loved Abby as soon as we met her, she has great energy and was fun to hang out with. She had creative ideas for backgrounds and poses and the photos turned out better than I ever imagined. She was really fast at getting our pictures back to us too. I wanted to do a family photo session (including our dog Luna) in Garden of the Gods, and it not only was a special and pleasant experience, the photos look amazing! She captured the grand but natural aesthetic that I wanted - I love the photos. She guided me throughout the entire process: provided me with samples in the location; picked out a uniquely perfect spot for the session; prompted us to take natural poses/smiles (we were all really enjoying the session so this was easy); and she was very accommodating to my requests, as I needed to have professional headshots done as well and ready by a certain deadline. The images I received were heavily edited in Lightroom, an illustration of her ability in using her own camera. I also received a fraction of the photos that were taken and a large upcharge if I wanted to added more photos because of "editing." I find her prices high compared to similar photographers with similar talent in the area. Locations note: Newborn photography is located in a basement room (cozy, but very small, similar to store studios) and all other photography is off-site only. Her basement studio is not as well equipped as a larger studio with adequate lighting, which would explain the heavy editing. She claims to take "just one more" to get the perfect shot, but as time went by, it seemed like she was frustrated that her vision of "the perfect shot" was not being satisfied and time was running out, although WE were happy with several previous photos. Some red flags: She was not confident in explaining how she archives photos if I wanted to order an additional disc if I lost or damaged the one I receive (I am unsure of she is computer illiterate or has no system in place). The wait on this CD was lengthy. She shared my images on Facebook without my permission with her logo plastered across the front with a tacky disclaimer (made the very expensive photography session feel like a photo session at Kmart). The business is not registered with the state of Colorado, so there is little recourse if your child becomes hurt during the session or if she does not deliver the final product. I gave her 1 star and recommend you shop around.
