This little shop is tucked away next to a couple other small places and it can be a little…read moredifficult to spot it if you're driving along. I decided to pop in on a whim today. The woman who owns the shop is wonderful. She's clearly very particular about what she carries - everything is either organic, eco-friendly, or sourced from independent designers (she said she carries pieces from approximately 12 Etsy vendors). Pretty much every piece of clothing was soft to the touch and there was a decent assortment of colors, textures, and garments. The only downside is it felt like she was really limited in terms of multiple sizes in some of her garments. I know indie shops like this can't carry everything and will obviously run out of certain sizes or colors first, but anyway. The other thing she carries a lot of is vintage costume jewelry. I pawed through her cases (and there are many!) and lusted over a few different things. And just for a heads up, almost everything I picked up in terms of jewelry was $50 or above. It seemed like Brooches started around that price point and necklaces started around $100 for the most part. Granted I'm sure there are pieces cheaper than that, but it would have taken hours to manhandle everything she has. This isn't a discount kind of a place; it's obvious she takes a lot of care in collecting pieces that don't have missing stones or damaged hardware, and aren't some corny theme (like some of the antique shops in the area with Christmas or 4th of July things that will never sell). She also has a pretty solid assortment of vintage purses and leather pocket belts (those have a bit of a Burning Man feel to them, if you know what I mean). So, if you're not going to balk at the price of organic and independently made clothing and accessories, it's definitely worth checking this little shop out. If you have really nice vintage jewelry you're looking to get rid of, I'm sure she would be interested in taking a look at it based on some of the comments she made.

I shopped with this store on 7/21 and purchased a tank top (on sale), jewelry (regular price) and a pair of slacks (regular price) with a blouse (regular price). After a day or two I decided against keeping the slacks and blouse, but couldn't return the items until today due to work and travel. Before attempting to return the items I checked the receipt to review the store's return policy. It states "Exchanges within 7 days only. Receipt must accompany all returns and exchanges. All sales items are final sales." Figuring the receipt mentions "returns" I thought the items would be returnable, so I called to confirm and spoke to the Owner. She sounded dumbfounded I would even think of returning the items and refused to return them even though her receipts show "Receipt must accompany all returns & exchanges." She said (and I'm paraphrasing here) in all her 30+ years no one has questioned the return policy. I guess no one has EVER returned an item?! Seems unlikely. Normally I do not but her poor customer service really turned me off. Anyways, if you know for certain you won't return anything and shoot I would even wager you make sure you won't exchange anything. AND you don't care about your customer service experience when retail shopping then this is the store for you. Sure it has pretty things but I can recommend plenty of other retail shops with pretty things and excellent customer service. I mean let's face it these small stores wouldn't exist without us the customer. Unfortunately for this store owner she has lost any future business from this avid retail shopper and I live just down the street. FYI...my Mom has reported the same level of poor customer service when she stopped by to just shop.

I…read morehave to say beach town small stores might be my favorite thing ever, and this shop might be the number ONE! Upon arrival it is clearly marked and various parking spots! When walking up there is a clearance rack outside and plenty of plants that draw your attention! The range and selection is vast, and makes me want to buy them all!! When you go inside you're instantly taken into a retro, vibrant, vintage, modern style shop! You're immediately greeted by the store attendant, with kindness and good entire. I love the range from trendy to chic! I love shopping in small shops because you can find things you won't find anywhere else! Soemthing that really caught my eye was the jewelry, there were various different shapes and colors throughout the whole store. One of the most interesting aspects of the store is the fact that almost every table is a different vendor, not to mention the vast selection! I will note things are on the higher price scale due to it being a small business, but you're able to give back to the community!
