Came here on a total bagel whim after my friend told me I had to try it and wow, she was right. There was a line, it smelled incredible, and I immediately wanted to eat every bagel on the wall (are they real? I still don't know, but I wanted them all). I got a cold brew with vanilla and banana cold foam and it was so good. The banana flavor tastes real, not fake at all, and the cold brew was rich and smooth. I took home a whole bagel haul (tomato basil, everything, jalapeño cheddar, cinnamon raisin, blueberry) plus jalapeño cream cheese and their cream cheese is unreal! Light, smooth, perfectly flavored, not too spicy, and nothing like store bought. Bagels are fresh, coffee is great, and I'm already planning my next visit for a breakfast sandwich because that's my weakness. Only note: I do keep an eye on health scores and would love to see theirs improve, but everything looked clean and smelled amazing when I was there. So happy I found this place. Something's shifting here. Maybe they're hiring too many new people that aren't trained properly? Two of my orders were wrong. We pick up there and don't notice until we get home. The first time they put bacon instead of ham, even though my husband clearly told them bacon. The second time the two bagel orders were mixed up. Normally Cassidy's is definitely a 4 if not a 5. But last Saturday it was super busy and I feel like they lost sight of taking care of the customers. I ordered my usual Joe's special. The bagel itself tasted fine - I ordered a bagel sandwich and the employee who rung me up was nice, however I couldn't stand sitting in a room full of smoke batting flies away from my food. I have visited this location twice now and both times I ordered the sandwich that they call GG. It is their vegan sandwich with avocado, hummus, cucumbers, alfalfa, red onions, and tomatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was enjoyed on an everything bagel. I was greeted when I walked in and everything was tidy upon entering. The lighting was nice as much of it came from natural sunlight from the wide open windows-- it was nice inside. In my local bucket list of food establishments that did not disappoint. Small, clean bagel shop on the Eastvale/Norco border. Fairly new shopping center. Walk up ordering moves fast with an efficient staff. Good selection of large, fresh bagels daily with an assortment of cream cheese options and breakfast and lunch sandwiches that are totally customizable. Also serves coffee, tea, iced tea and assorted bottled beverages. Seating area is limited and weekend lines are long..but again, they do move quickly. Lack of good customer service. I placed an order online for pickup. Employees see you by the counter and don't acknowledge you until after a while. I gave my name for the order and was told it wasn't ready but my email said otherwise. I waited but I noticed several orders just sitting by the area they were making the bagels. Then someone called my name but it wasn't my order and kept waiting. I waited about 10 minutes until an employee asked for my full name. Then they realized my order was ready since I got there and yes it was one of the bags that I saw sitting there. I was handed my bag and no apologies or anything. What a disappointment. It's pretty basic and not memorable. The main problem seems to be organization. I usually order ahead, but when I come in to pick up, there's almost always confusion about my order. I tried to order an espresso drink about 15 minutes before closing, but they had already closed down the machine. I asked what time I should come if I want an espresso drink, and I was told about 30 minutes before closing is a safer time to come. It is one thing to run out of product, but shutting down early is a choice. Driving to this establishment was a waste of my time. Customers should not be expected to guess. If closing is at 2:00, the espresso machine should remain in operation until closing. Otherwise, it should be expressly stated on the menu that espresso drinks are not available after 1:30. There were many other creative options that I would have loved to come back and try but as a 1st-timer, I like going the classic/basic route unless it's truly something unique to that establishment. Anyways, ordered my BLT on sesame, toasted and added raw onion FOR $.70, but okayyyyy. Cashier was super friendly and seemed like he genuinely enjoyed working there. Order came quick enough so no issues there. Price = almost $12. When I opened the food and took 2 bites, I knew immediately I was going back to get a refund. Literally 2-strips of bacon, 2!!!!! a HALF of a single romaine lettuce leaf, and 2 narrow slices of tomato. No mayo...and the $.70 for raw onion, 3 shaved shards.....that hardly justifies the upcharge. So 2 of the 3 ingredients that make up a BLT, they decided to be extremely stingy on. Trying to give a little grace, I tried justifying paying nearly $12 for the bagel itself. It was a good size but legit tasted like DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS old bread. A good bagel has a nice chew. These - nearly crumbled in your mouth and had no flavor. I literally drove back from my job, extending my lunch time, to get a refund. Cassidy's - do better! They have a wide selection of different bagels, lots of sandwich variations, but only 3 options for breakfast sandwiches. But one of them is a build your own, so I guess that's okay.
