It is a bit overwhelming as to all the choices for your waffle so we took the easy street and had ours stuffed with bananas and cover with dark chocolate. There was only one guy manning the counter, waffle maker and register. He was quite the character with a huge beaming smile on his face the entire time despite there being about 15 to 20 people in there looking to get waffles. His strategy was to first take everyone's order back to back and then move over to the waffle iron and condiment station to make them up one at a time. When one was completed, he would hustle it out to the appropriate table. Needless to say this meant that it take a good 15 minutes before we got our waffle. I will say it was worth the wait though as it was light and full of flavor with just the right mix of toppings. Maybe we had selected a good combination, I don't know. I would not go too far out of my way to come here but if you find yourself a few minutes away than why not?

It was a small cafe with a capacity of maybe 40 people and the place was completely full the whole time we were there. If you like waffles, this is the place to be! The only reason, I gave it a four is based on the assessment of the cafe itself. The entrance door is not spring loaded, which means people walking in and out, who do not take the time to close the door, leave the door open. It was a cold and breezy night and this was often annoying. With your earnings, please invest on a better and more functional door! :)

HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH…read more I absolutely adored this place. I had a smile on my face from the moment I walked in to the moment I closed my eyes to go to sleep. I ordered the Happy Waffle and couldn't believe I almost finished the whole thing. Unlike America, they don't use much sugar so it was completely tolerable and I didn't feel guilty or even gluttonous I added scoops of ice cream (vanilla and mango), strawberries, mango, mandarin oranges and other fruit, white chocolate, assorted local chocolates, and sprinkles. The personal touch did it for me though. I could not stop grinning and taking pictures lol it was soooooo good looking and I didn't know where to start. The owner was super welcoming and hospitable. He brought me hot tea to go with my waffle. I look forward to returning to Germany just so I can get another waffle.

Tried the apple strudel waffle which was good but lacking in apple. The vanilla ice cream went well with the waffle but wasn't great in itself. I enjoyed the Mmaah whole fruit tea (with lemon slices), which stems from a collaboration with the nearby Mmaah restaurants. The owner/architect is friendly and welcoming. First of all, he waffles themselves are amazing. They'e soft and fresh and almost melting in your mouth (in a good way, haha). Also, you can add almost any topping existing, from varying fruits (I first went there in february and they still had all the fruits available!) to sweet chocolaterie (Raffaelo, Ferrero Rocher etc.) and stuff like white chocolate sauce and coconut sprinkles. All made on the premises and really fresh. Some exotic flavours like ginger, strawberry ricotta (creamy ricotta and real strawberry granita). Their lemon sorbet is bright, fresh and tastes like lemons, not artificial flavouring. They also give you a freshly baked butter waffle cone if you get three scoops or more. 2.
