Castell Henllys is the ideal place to visit if you're a teacher teaching about the Celts. Children have the opportunity to dress up as Celts, have their faces painted blue, and travel back to the Bronze Age on the 'time travel walk'! All the staff are very knowledgable, and can answer any tricky questions thrown at them by the children. The roundhouses are amazing, they look (and smell!) totally authentic. I see them every day from the road as I drive to work, and am always amazed at how 'at home' they look there on the hillside. Castell Henllys is also an ideal place to visit as a family. People of all ages will enjoy the experience of feeding the wild pigs! There is also a gift shop there. It's reasonably priced, therefore an ideal family educational, but not boring, day out! read more
