WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY. These people have no idea what they are doing and are scamming everyone out there. We bought a house and the sellers used this company to service it. The invoice said everything was fine and when we moved in it wasn't working. They then said that it was working 1/3 of the time but decided to leave that out of the invoice we were provided. THEN, they came out to give us an estimate and said it was $1200. We got another company to come out, they said one of the parts wasn't plugged in and that this sham of a company did a terrible job cleaning. LITERALLY QUOTED US $1200 FOR SOMETHING THAT WASNT EVEN BROKEN. THESE PEOPLE ARE CLUELESS. I don't even know why they have a business. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A PLACE. read more

Run do not walk away from Castle Rock Heating & Air. Tech came out and looked at my furnace and gave me a quote for $1500 to repair for parts and labor. It was $1000 in parts and $468 in labor. Not wanting to throw good money at a bad furnace I asked what it would cost to replace the 9yr old 45K BTU furnace - No AC he told me $5.5K. When I asked why so much he told me it was ~$1800-$2000 in labor plus $3500 for the new unit.. He told me he was going to go close up the furnace and get his tools. He left and when I went back to the attic I discovered the tech did not re-secure the front panel of the furnace and when I pulled it off to reinstall discovered he left wires lose he had pulled to troubleshoot. I googled the parts and I can buy the exact same parts for $158. The cost of the furnace is about $2600 including shipping and $1000 from another licensed HVAC company to install. Big difference between $1500 to fix and $158 in parts and $3600 and $5500. read more

At Christmas we were cheated and lied to by Castle Rock Heating and Air. We were out of town for the holidays when our furnace stopped working. On Christmas Eve we paid Castle Rock Heating and Air $2,235.00 to fix our furnace. Part of the bill was $595.00 to rebuild the inducer motor. We found out later that our particular inducer motor can't be rebuild but only replaced with a new one. The next morning this supposedly rebuilt motor has seized completely. We left two voicemails with David to come and replace the motor, but he never called back. Because the weather continued to be below freezing, we were forced to immediately find a different company to come and fix the furnace. They replaced the inducer motor that very day and told us how we were cheated. We sent two emails to Castle Rock Heating and Air asking for the $595.00 refund but never received any answers. 10 days later we called and spoke to David and were told again that they never received any messages from us. David refused to give us this refund. He ignored the fact that he didn't do anything for the $595.00. We trusted Castle Rock Heating and Air to help in a difficult situation and they took advantage of us. We don't recommend anyone to use this company because Castle Rock Heating and Air lack honesty and Integrity. read more

I needed the ignitor in my fireplace replaced in Sep 2021. He quoted me over $1900. Knowing the part was expensive and paying for labor, I agreed. Especially since I did not want to mess with gas. The fireplace worked and didn't see any other issues besides being overpriced. Well, my gas bills kept going up and just figured all the storms and inflation. Then my home was inspected and found gas leak from fireplace when it was turned off and even more turned on. So we been exposed to gas all this time. Definitely a shady company. read more

This company is thee worst I have ever dealt with! And, they removed my bad review from last week on their Facebook page... Big surprise! Run from this dishonest company! Charged $59 for 10 minutes of serviceman's time and a ridiculous quote of $1,200 to repair a burst hose bib that two other licensed Plummer's said would cost between $160-$210 total to fix including access hatch! Licensed Plummer came out and fixed hose that only blew off connection from pressure in 45 minutes, and only $80! This company seems to have quite a bit of bad reviews with outrageous overpriced quotes, pressure to purchase their monthly insurance plan(tried to pressure me to purchase, after I told service guy his quote was outrageous and I wasn't interested in their service), and afterwards don't honor service plan to those who purchased it! THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF! RUN! read more

Are you kidding me with this company? Disgusting Grifters, nothing more, I recently purchased a condo and made the mistake of just allowing these thieves to do a maintenance on my unit ($220) the gentleman shows up on time and seemed nice, professional enough, but 2 minutes later came up with a whole rehearsed script on my unit needing a new contact & capacitor and that running the unit cloud blow out the motor, As well as adding Freon, this dude was pounding at me until I agreed, even my telling him I did not have $1000 for this repair, he did not give a S$$^%, he had his agenda, I assumed at this price we were talking 2-3 hrs or work, 22 minutes later he presents me with an invoice of: Labor - $289 Contact & Capacitor - $464.96 Freon - $188 And some other BS charge added ($1000) he was smiling as he knew to took me, I looked on line and a capacitor is a $20 item on Amazon, This company is the absolute worst and once I saw others write of the same disgusting tactics. RUN from these thieves read more

Stay away from this company. They are complete scam artists looking to charge you absurd prices for doing nothing. Recently they diagnosed a problem with my furnace that they said would cost over $1000. They said I needed a new this and a new that. I was immediately suspicious. I went to another company and it turns out there was nothing wrong with the furnace; it was just a minor problem that needed no service whatsoever. The other company fixed the "problem" in 10 seconds. 10 seconds! Do not trust this company. read more

I had them out to look at my fireplace, 10 minutes later they gave me an estimate of $2100 or something close to that-they never gave me the estimate in writing like they said they were which is another issue. I told them no and paid $188 for them coming out (for 10 minutes) and he was supposed to email me the estimate so I could know what parts I needed. The one part I did remember he quoted something like$750, the part was $200 from heat n Glo online. i never received the estimate via email so I called them, and then called again, left two messages and then finally got ahold of the tech that was at my house, David. After explaining what I needed he Quickly said he would resend it and tried to hang up, I asked him to confirm my email and it wasnt even close to my email, so he said he would email me the estimate. I did receive an email from them, it was the invoice for the $188 I already paid for my 10 minute visit. So I called again, left a text message and an email, nothing! What a horrible company and to boot, I really have no idea why my fireplace won't work ( I honestly don't think they did either). read more

I recently had Castle Rock Heating and Air come out to service my HVAC system, and I couldn't be more impressed with their professionalism, expertise, and overall quality of service. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, their customer service team was friendly and accommodating, fitting me in for a quick service call. The technician who came out, Dave, was punctual, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on with my system. He assessed everything quickly, identified the issue, and offered clear options for repair without any pressure to overspend. I really appreciated how honest and transparent he was throughout the whole process. Not only did they fix the problem efficiently, but they also took the time to clean up afterward and ensure everything was running smoothly. My home is now more comfortable than ever, and I feel confident that my heating and air systems are in great hands. I highly recommend Castle Rock Heating and Air for anyone in need of heating and air services. Great service, fair pricing, and excellent communication! I'll definitely be a repeat customer. read more

My husband and I moved into a new home. After a few days (and a snow storm) the furnace stopped working. even with the snow, Castle Rock heating and air was able to be there within six hours of me calling. They got it fixed in one visit and didn't charge me any kind of last minute or emergency fee. Its been working great since then. read more
