I had a problem with an upstairs rad not working, turned out to just be a problem with low pressure…read morein the system and too many rads on, Brian sorted it out and gave me advice on how to balance the rads to give the upstairs one a chance given the system didnt have a balancing valve which the guys who fitted the boiler should have installed, i also had a problem with my central heating timer switch not working and he advised me that i could get a relacement timer switch in international trading corp on tramore road and fit it easily myself, he charged me 50 euro for the job which i thought was fair, a less scupulous plumber would have pushed me to get the balancing valve installed and/or replaced some random part and charged for it and wouldn't have told me about where to get a timer switch and just installed and charged for one, so all in all i was very happy with his work and found him to be a decent trustworthy guy. Avoid - Very bad customer service. Purchased 2 expensive carpets. Prior to purchase was assured…read morethat the carpets would run level with the specified hallway tile height when fitted. Without prior consent or a phone call to notify us about the need to, the fitter unscrewed 5 doors from the door frames and left them unhung in the hallway when finished fitting the carpets due to the height of the finished carpet not been level with the tiles. Did not tidy up excess / carpet trimmings. Got no satisfaction from the manager when I phoned to express my discontent with the job. Purchased a far cheaper carpet for another bedroom elsewhere and the service / neatness of the job was far superior and the room door didn't have to be removed.

Tim said 'he should have at least texted you.' Also, I choose five carpets that I liked. First they were available; then they were unavailable. I was so fed up with Kelly that I took 'a bottom of the barrel' carpet - ugly as hell; a friend gave me rugs to cover it. Incredible, when I mailed the carpet payment to him, in moneys orders, he called me and asked 'what am I supposed to do with these?' I blocked his number. Paddy.

My complaint comes with the after sales service. We had one area with a good quality Lino, that yellowed and did not hold up well after only a few months. I contacted the owner twice and on another occasion spoke to another member. Each time I was promised that someone would get back to me and arrange to come out look. I am fed up at this point because it has all been lip service. Very disappointed . At least 2 months have gone by and still no contact. Not good business practice and therefore I could not recommend this business. You must be able to back up your merchandise.

He and his men turned up on the appointed date and did a neat and tidy job, which included changing the boiler and installing new thermostats and so on. They were courteous, friendly and efficient and the recent cold spell has certainly underlined the value of the work.
