We were not planning on going here, but passed nearby and saw their signs so we stopped in. It's just charming. Outside are plants and a cat statue. I'm not even an "animal person", but you can't help but be enchanted. Inside the thrift store is a little touch of everything that is artfully arranged. China and bric a brac and artworks; some jewelry and books; housewares too. Not a whole lot of each category. But certainly enough to interest browsing. The cats are well cared for with lots of toys, climbing structures, beds, and an outdoor play area. The facility is cleaned well, too. We stopping in to give some love to the cats here. We have too many cats at home to adopt more but we encourage you to stop in! We always manage to leave with a puzzle and another item or two as well. The staff there are very sweet. read more

I adopted one of my cats from Cats Angels 2 years ago- but lately I just hit up the thrift store for goodies! Now that I am doing pottery every day I can, I am always thrift store hunting for various things I can use for art- including bowls, dishes, cookie cutters and more. Things that have great texture, vessels that I can use as mold, my brain is looking at anything and everything and determining if I can use it for my arts. I adore the staff here, all are so compassionate, thoughtful and giving! Couple that with wonderful fur babies and a thrift store and book store- you have yourself a hit! Don't forget to check outside at their plant sale too. Inventory is always changing with donations, so go back often! read more

I can't imagine anyone not giving this wonderful place a 5 star rating. This wonderful place has a very large thrift area which is very nice thrift and not over priced and even if it was a bit overpriced the funds go to the cats and the sanctuary that the Cat Angels have built for them. In the thrift area there is plenty to look at and all of the items are clean and displayed very well. There is plenty of room to walk so you don't feel like like you are going to bump into something and break it. After you finish browsing you are welcome to visit the cats in their climate controlled sanctuary room. The room has open cages none of the cats are locked up, they can come and go, there are platforms with blankets, cat poles, feeding dishes and water available at all times and it's 24/7 cozyness. There is a cat door to a protectedn extra long catio The catio has a tier of levels which has cat beds with blankets for more furry sunny cat nap splendor. Many of the cats that are with the Cat Angels are older cats and would do well in furever homes. Finding a new home I am sure is what they dream of in their cat napping dreams. If you have aluminum cans you can bring those and donate those to Cat Angels. The donation area for cans is in the back of the parking lot. You can also leave your spare change in the jug on the counter in the front checkout area. Adopt a furever friend if you can. read more

I went by because I was missing my kitties on vacation and this foot the bill and of course I wanted to take all of them home with me. Very clean very well-maintained location plus It's a thrift store. There's a tuxedo cat that was outdoors that I fell in love with and then there were two kittens that were dying to come home with me or let me rephrase I was dying to take them home but of course my four cats would probably kill me so I refrained. Great place to visit a great place to adopt. read more

Cats angels is both a shelter and a thrift store- both well done. I love to come into the thrift store and search for treasure. It is small but fun. I also bring all my donations here to help out the shelter. In the back of the store is the shelter. It is very well kept and the cats are happy and sociable, despite the large number in a small space. You can go in and pet and play with any of the cats and the staff will just hang out and answer questions if you have any. It's a great charity, a good place to shop and maybe you'll find your new best friend there. read more

Okay - it gets three stars because it's a great cause! When you enter - the smell overtakes you. They board homeless cats - and offer adoptions. The cat area is unique with indoor & outdoor accommodations. There is a looking glass so you can watch the kitty's or you can go inside the cat area for a visit if you wish. Sadly, by housing the cats in the same area as the thrift shop it gets a bit - aye - shall we say 'hairy'?!? The thrift store is very dusty & dirty so be careful as you handle items. It's all for a wonderful cause so I hate to sound too harsh or negative - as someone who suffers severe allergies, its difficult to browse very long & the smell is very overwhelming. The staff are all older ladies of the community who are trying to impact the lives of these poor forgotten or discarded creatures and I applaud them greatly for their effort. The thrift shop offers many various items from pet supplies to clothing, kitchen ware, and used books. You never know what you may find as they depend on donations. Working hard for a great cause .... Hold your nose and give 'em a donation or stop in and spend some time with a kitty living well thanks to this group! Enjoy ...! read more

So disappointed with this place. Ended up finding a litter of kittens and didnt know what to do with them. Called and received a condisinding lecture from some old lady on the phone who said that they are my responsibility now. Said 100%would not take the kittens and thier mama. Was extremely rude on the phone. I ended up having to take to humane society. read more

My husband and I stop in whenever we visit the area. The people that work here are mostly volunteers and are doing tremendous things not only in this facility but also around the area to see to the care and protection of the cats .We try to bring things to not only donate for the cause but also have found treasures on all our visits. I actually got the pleasure to volunteer for a few hours helping with some of the current feline residents and hopefully will be able to do so on future visits. I am so glad there is a place like cat angels for our furry little babies. With this organization to help out our furry friends there are less rabid and unwanted kitties. I personally have 3 all adopted and at one time I had a total of 9 all of whom lived happy healthy lives until they passed away from old age I donate goods and food so no baby ever goes hungry. After all they are just people that walk on all fours. read more
