The support and the family that I had needed all along, I found at this school. All the things that over the years would keep me out of school, they helped me with and made a way for me. The biggest thing is that I did not believe in myself until SACA. This school was a game changer for me and for my friends. The teachers didn't let us fall through the cracks. They really cared and they would pick me up every time and help me to know that I had a purpose and that I could do anything that I set my mind to. I don't know what would have happened to me if I didn't find this school. Fast forward to now. I have a great job and my own family. I ended up going to pima and then the u of A on scholarships which was only possible because of what I learned and who I became at SACA. It was honestly terrifying to get started when I was so far behind, but the amazing office staff at Compass walked me through the entire sign up process with endless patience. Not once was I ever made to feel inferior or like a waste of time by any of the teachers or students. All of the classes were well paced so I was never left behind and the staff always made time to help me wherever they could. The teachers all did everything they could to help me get to where I needed to be, and now, after 3 years, I was able to graduate in May 2019!
