When I came to see Catharine I was emotionally really upset and in my head around an encounter I had that day. I wasn't even sure I should have her touch me as my pain body was really activated. From the moment I arrived her calm voice and deep presence soothed me. When she cradled my neck I immediately felt a sense of calm. In about 15 minutes I was so relaxed that I had stopped obsessing about the story that initially upset me. In fact the story had disappeared altogether. I began to feel her opening up my subtle body and felt electrical charge from my head to my toes creating a tingling sensation throughout my body. Then out of the blue I had a vision, it was clear as day, I had a dear walk up to me on the table and whisper, "gentle" in my ear. By the end of the session I felt like a brand new woman. I tend to gravitate towards more direct physical therapy modalities like massage, chiropractic, accupuncture and physical therapy. I am a bit skeptical of sublte energy work so was happily surprised at the results of a session with catharine. I could feel the suble manipulation but Im not sure completely what happened to be honest. All i know is I found myself in a deep calm relaxed state during the session which was surprising as it was so subtle. Ive returned for more sessions as i wanted to make sure it wasnt just a chance experience-It wasnt . I had my first session this evening. I entered her wonderful relaxing space with no idea what I was in for after having several professionals recommend this modality to me. Catharine is a very real person, easy to talk to and wonderfully direct when discussing the treatment. I felt immediately very safe to have whatever experience would present itself to us. The treatment itself is very complicated to describe but as someone very highly educated in head and neck anatomy it was immediately clear she knows what she's doing. She asked me some questions during the treatment that were insightful around the emotional components of how our nervous system and bodies respond to our emotional experiences. This is a real unteachable skill to be able to gently help you explore difficult areas without leading you or telling you. The actual treatment is soothing and effective and really just impossible to describe. I felt movement when there was none. I left able to breathe easily and feeling great.
