My review isn't regarding the Church itself. I'm leaving this review of their "3 Circle Benevolence…read moreOrganization." First, I need to preface this by saying that I was on the verge of a catastrophic heart attack in the earlier part of 2025. The doctors refer to a heart attack caused by a blockage in this particular coronary artery a "Widowmaker" myocardial infarction because the artery supplies 55%, or more, of the left side of the heart with blood. So I was as near death as a person could be without actually dying. Having said that, I contacted 3Circle Church regarding some financial assistance with my rent this month. Common sense would dictate that enduring all of what I described would cause ripples of financial issues in the following months, which is exactly the situation. When I called the church, they emailed me the application for assistance which I filled out and submitted. I received a call yesterday, 17 Nov 2025, from a gentleman named Gerald Roberts. I inadvertently missed his called and called him back as soon as I realized he had called. When I returned his call, he asked me if he could call me back in about 30 minutes. I said, "Sure. No problem." Mr. Roberts never returned my call after he said he would. I did not try to call him again on that day. So, today, 18 Nov 2025, I did call him and after a couple of rings the call was answered and immediately hung up in my face. They claim to be a "Benevolent Organization." However, I don't see any Benevolence in their behavior. I have a genuine need for assistance and they treat me like this? I saw a review on this church before I decided to leave a review. Evidently, This is a pattern of behavior. Never will I go there to Worship Christ Jesus after all this. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! God Bless!

My son and I have been dealing with spiritual attacks and the office made it seem like a burden for them to open the door.. If you are having a spiritual crisis.. DO NOT GO THERE! They will have you doubting your worth just as bad as the devil himself.. We are supposed to the Body of Christ.. but they rather be disconnected and involved in something else other than serving other Christians and strengthening Faith, Hope, and Grace.. they strengthen their egos instead.. do not waste your time there.

Every week they quote many Bible verses and teach them in detail. Yes the entertainment is wonderful. The singers at each location are some of the best I've heard and I have attended mega churches for most of my life. But let me say this again, you do not attend church for the entertainment value. You attend church to learn about God's plan for you. You join a body of believers to support the believers. You join a group of believers to serve other s and share the plan of salvation. You do not attend church because of a charismatic preacher. You attend church to hear the gospel preached and teached, adhering to the infallible word of God, the Bible, building you up to lead a loving and productive life, glorifying your Creator.

The pulled pork was great, nice and juicy it came with a sweet heat barbecue sauce on the side. Each bite of the delicious pork was simply divine, the sauce builds heat as you eat. The baked beans have a little bite theirselves, they have a nice deep smoky flavor that leaves you wanting more. This scrumptious meal was topped off with banana pudding, as some would argue any barbecue meal served in the south should be. Disclaimer: I am not a banana pudding fan. That said I found it most tasty, it was light, and whipped to perfection. I enjoyed it very much. If you happen upon a barbecue fundraiser at this church I would certainly suggest you drop by for a plate and a smile from Pastor Mark and his church family.

Congregation Sha'arai Shomayim is the oldest Jewish congregation in the state of Alabama and one of the oldest Reform Jewish congregations in the United States. The Congregation was formally organized in 1844 and is now better known as the Springhill Avenue Temple. The last time I was in Mobile, my business trip had me here for 3 straight weeks. So on the first Friday night here, going to Shul here sounded like a great idea. And like my Father, I love visiting historical institutions and marveling at their longevity. The folks here were friendly and welcoming, the neighbourhood was gentile, and their was nothing like a little spirituality to end the week and begin the next one.
