We went in last night in search of hiking shoes/boots and found a really nice Merrell brand. I need to peruse other stores in SV to compare quality and prices but I would probably go back to Encore to purchase as I really like the pair I tried on. The only gripe I have is the customer service. We walked in and sales associates were organizing shoes, made eye contact with us; however, no greeting nor did not ask if we needed assistance. It was 8pm, an one before closing but still. 3 stars for the store and zero star for customer service.

This is what confuses me; is the store primarily for older women? If so, understand this before you come in. If not, then why not accept more youthful styles? About 1/3 of the store is children's clothing/items. 1/3 is women's clothing/items 1/3 home goods. The home goods are a fun hit or miss. Sometimes they have really cute stuff in for a decent price!
